Methinks the sword user would break the game O.o I mean hell! I've PLAYED touhou, and having an ability like that would take any bit of fun out of the game. Who the hell thought putting something like that in a shmup was a good idea?

It's still easy to die without a good party, it gets way too crazy for a swordsman to just block everything that comes at them like you are assuming.

its nerfed now so u hit slowe but when u get on harder lvl it is still hard with a swordman

They changed the controls for the movement and its way more sensitive now...makes it way harder and i don't like it.

Besides the game just came out you cant have high expectations on a game that just come out cause it will be broken and have its issues.

Even tera online / blade & soul will have those issues. Tera already been in CB in korea and i seen gameplay vids and it doesnt look perfect at all.

It only looks easy cause they got a sword dude to kill all of the bullets -.-. If you think it's easy just don't have a swordsman in your party.

I really like it when people find ways to make the same classic RPG roles in a genre you wouldn't expect them to be in. (for example... I wonder how a tank would work out in an FPS...)

you can tank in fps games. if its a team based match, usually the best player can go out and do most the damage and kill some befor he dies leavin the rest of the weaker players to finish off the other team. im a self proclaimed tank in some FPS's

This is a very early stage in the game. This is actually one of the first areas you go to that is why it looks so easy. This game is amazing and I can't wait to play it again starting tomorrow!

How balanced are the different characters? looks to me like the swordman would get most of the points, items etc. plus i bet most ppl play as a bowman as thats the most conventional shmup style of play

they are very balanced, the swordsman can be immortal if they so want, just constantly slash, but they need to move and get up close to hit...when too close even slashing constantly wont save you

I think these are just the earlier levels. I bet there are levels more hardcore like a normal shoot em up which to play them sort of games you need alot of skill to play well.
