  • Your singing is quite good :-)

  • I couldn't find this tab anywhere. Heard this song the other day and new I had to learn it. Thanks I'm loving it!!!

  • Love this NEW JB song and was hoping someone would do a lesson and you really did it justice. Thanks.

  • steve thanks - beautiful; but I'm such a beginner I cannot figure out the strumming pattern and cannot see your right hand- can you help?

  • Wow, I really appreciate this. Just listened to the Solo Acoustic 2 disc and I just remembered how gorgeous this song is. Thanks so much.

  • Thanks Buddy, very effective!

  • Great lesson...thanks, Steve. Do you have any interest in a Looking East acoustic lesson?

  • Of course

  • i love this song...and am getting my guitar tomorrow so will be playing this! Thanks Steve and if you have time Enough of the night would be awesome...! Take it easy and happy playing! :)

  • You sing well.

  • The big about this tuning is Jackson will sometimes will play a sus A and a straight A. The sustained A in this tuning is as follows:

    Low E open

B on the second fret making it a C#

    E open

G# on the first fret making it an A

    the last 2 strings open.

I'm not good at writing out tabs so I hope this makes sense.

  • Awesome thanks.....

  • Your Bright baby blues is pretty much the same as this song. In the shape of the heart it has C# minor chord in it other than that it is pretty much the same. But in 10 minutes with this tuning you'll catch on to it, you could even play slide with this open tuning.

  • Thanks. I'm going to try it that way tomorrow. Any chance you've got the chords for the other two tunes?

  • Actually Jackson plays this song with an open E tuning. That is why he can play the bass lines so well. The tuning is as follows: E-B-E-G#-B-E that is from low to high. Try this tuning and you'll see how easy it is to maintain the bass lines. He also uses this tuning for the following songs:

In the shape of a heart

    Your Bright Baby Blues
