God, poor Maddie. Noah wasn't fair to her at all. Luke DID kiss Noah back, that certainly wasn't a good decision on his part (even though it was very good for us) since Noah was in a relationship. Lily's right, this is a mess.
Thats so true what Noah said about coming out being "a cause". im not out with my family and i prefer it that way. alotta people asume that ur automaticaly in denial or something and that coming out the standard way will liberate you. but being open with people i feel comfortable with and not being open with others (even if its close family) is more convienent. i get annoyed when people thing that an individuals coming out will help the crusade and that its every gays duty to do his part.

(Tip for ya: there is no crusade or cause that your coming out will help, nor will keeping yourself private hinder any cause or crusade.)
It's your decision, it's your life. As you say, whatever is convenient and comfortable for you. Come out when you're ready and not before.
There is no 'standard' way of coming out, unless you're referring to being found out by someone who shouts it from the roof tops, so to speak.

you can really see how bad Noah feels about his dad and what he can do just to prove himself worth in Colonels eyes
