A variation you can do with this trick which doesn't require 2 decks..But instead just a little confusion.

By using the 6 of diamonds, 9 of hearts placed on the top and bottom.

And the 6 of hearts, 9 of diamonds taken out "at random" from the middle.

As long as you don't give them too much time to memorize the cards (just say I'm going to take this 6 and 9 and bury.).. The confusion of the 6/9 and heart/diamonds will fool almost anyone.

Try it for those who don't have a second deck!

instead of having two decks........ grab the 5 spades and 9 hearts and show them quickly, as you put them back say, "ok so the 5 of hearts and the 9 of spades" and flip the suites around, so 9 soades and 5 hearts on bottom...... so when they snatch the deck from you there wont be 2 same cards....
