@sickgringo007 i saw a behind the scenes clip once and there are usually 6-10 guys behind the camera. At least 2 cameramen, sound guy or 2, producer, first aid, survival specialist, director, safety co-ordinator etc and to get the crew to the other side of the gorge they almost certainly had a helicopter on call at all times. not to belittle what they do, it is still cool, just not as 'independent' as they make out.

Now I know why Bear said this was one of this favorite episodes if not his favoite. They did so much in it. That's awesome that Jake went on that rope I would be scared as hell. It's kind of weird too because Jake said on Part 1 that he is scared of heights. I already liked Jake Gyllenhaal after he played kind of a badass character in Jarhead, and now this just shows how cool he really is.

However Bear mentioned "Tyrolean traverse" - but that mountaineering manoeuvre would require a zip line, and it would be looking more like you having your back facing down.
