They also claimed that there was molten steel, but had no physical evidence. The picture of the molten steal was peer reviewed, and was determined to be a different metal such as aluminum since there were no other pictures of molten steel, and because of the similarities of the metals.

@AroundSun Do you honestly think that the thousands of professional architects, engineers etc. do not hold any merit in their request for a re-opening of the 9/11 investigation? They have reasons to doubt what has been told. And since this conspiracy theory is in part directed at the U.S. government, that means that NIST and other government organizations should not do the investigation...you cannot let those accused be the ones who do the investigating, this is simple

@butanerios A lot more than those 1500 architects and engineers(many of whom, if you look, are neither architects nor engineers)understand and accept the collapse analysis. And not one of them was at the WTC that day or worked at the site afterward, but many real engineers did.

Ms Garrison of South Park, Colorado.You will forgive me if I find the credibility of that list suspect, or wonder why the 1 million other architects and engineers in this country have not signed on.

@AroundSun Where you finding that list? I looked on their website and I've found none of those names listed. A large reason no conclusive umbrella studies of the event have been published is in part because the U.S. shipped most of the evidence overseas to China in order to be melted down immediately after the event took place. What is your credibility on this matter?

@butanerios First there are many anomalies in the authorship, and the journal. One of the listed authors, Gregg Roberts, has a B.A. in psychology. No graduate degrees are listed for him at Jones’ group’s website stj911.org. As he has no degrees in the physical sciences, why is he listed as co-authoring this work on alleged advanced chemical physics?

@butanerios Then we come to the Bentham Open Journal itself. Despite Jones usual proclamation of “peer reviewed,” it wasn't. It's called “pay to publish”. An even funnier tale is when someone was able to publish total computer generated nonsense in a Bentham Open Journal. So much for “peer reviewed” or even notifying its chief editor! 4 WTC dust samples used in the paper. THERE IS NO CHAIN OF CUSTODY FOR ANY OF THEM. They were in people’s apartments for 6 years. They'd be disallowed in court!

@AroundSun and by the way, there was an article published in the peer-reviewed Open Chemical Physics Journal (2009, 2, 7-31) that discussed the presence of thermite that was found in the WTC dust. So yes, there have been peer-reviewed studies published on the matter.

@butanerios No sir. That article was proven to not contain any evidence to the presence of thermite. There is no physical evidence that any thermite was used. They also claimed that there was molten steel, but had no physical evidence. The picture of the molten steal was peer reviewed, and was determined to be a different metal such as aluminum since there were no other pictures of molten steel, and because of the similarities of the metals.
