The study is the same as the treatment currently used that is Botox is injected intravaginally and dilation is done all under anesthesia. 3 days of post procedure counseling helps the patient understand the dilation process. We then advise how to progress to intercourse and often we work closely with any therapist originally involved in your care. The FDA approved study is simply more detail with paperwork.
