  • Who is the composer of this song? and who is the Lyrics from?

    Thanks

    ART

  • @tawangharmusic

i don't know the composer! but it is Molana's Poem in "Divane Shams"

  • DO you have the english translation of this song plz?

  • @binashraf Nah Sorry i don't!

  • @mehran9 aint that u singing in the video?

  • @binashraf lol nah i'm not :D

  • @mehran9 Oh! :/ lol sorry

  • wow besiar ziba va roh navaz

  • az koja miayad in avaye doost ?

  • I really like this rendition by Ms. Vahdat. I think the lyrics are by Molavi from his Divan-e-Shams-e-Tabrizi even though I couldn't find it in my copy of the Selections from the Divan. If it is, then ya'll realize that the Eid Molavi is referring to here is probably not the Eid-e-no-ruz but the one at the end of Ramadan. You know, the reference to the moon and Dohol and all that stuff. Anyway, nice.

  • Beautiful voice and god bless u and thank u

  • Proof again that women are better multi-taskers than men. I can just hold a basic rhythm with a few minor embellishments and there she is kicking my butt by singing and playing at the same time. Absolutely beautiful, I wish more Americans could see this side of Persia.

  • i proud to be irarnian really <3

  • ghashang bood mamnon

  • Bahia don't claims noruz as their created holiday. their new year is actually in April, but noruz coincides with their end of fasting celebration, so it is celebrated, and as the fonder of this faith are Iranians, they added Noruz to their celebration. I noticed in Washington Bahai Asians, Africans, and even bahai native Indians are celebrating Noruz together. you know like xmass celebrated by all Christians, while it is a pagan ritual going back to Mithra, which is interestingly also Persian.

  • Beautiful voice keep it up.

  • @candewan

The answer is in your question. It's because they are aghab oftadehay-e asr-e hajar.

  • I can easily listen to her performing for days.

I have played this almost 20 times since yesterday that I found it.

    She has a magical voice.

  • Forgiveness, love and peace upon all Iranians. Jesus loves you!

  • @moerfani

:) thank you, i'm sure he does :)

  • @moerfani There is no god, give us all a break. What Iran needs is for all religions to fade away. The song however is beautiful.

  • @moerfani And God bless you because of your well willing and your beautiful spirit

  • @okscience , in the Bahai writings this is how Naw-Ruz has been translated to English.

  • I love your style and voice ,,,Bravo

  • Beautiful, Does any one know where is Marjan Now? We would like to invite her to a Nowruz event.

  • @okscience naw ruz is a persian festivity, also celebrated by kurdish

  • so one can plz translate this poem in english. thnx

  • beautiful

  • very beautiful voice.

  • ugh i love you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • beautiful music

  • is it Bahai song?

  • @Qwerti60

nah its not, its a Persian poem

  • Persian peom can be muslim, christian and bahai

  • @Qwerti60 , or can be none of them :)

  • why do you think so if most of the Medieval poets were Islamic poets

  • @Qwerti60 , Nah that’s true I’m not denying that, most of them were Muslim poets. But there must be some none Muslim right? I cannot name anyone tho! :D haha do you know anyone? It would be good to know. Thanks for your comment tho :)

  • As most of Iranani peoples along with Persians are muslims. The pre-Islamic ones were not muslims and their poetic influences can be seen in medieval poems

  • i respect bahai people very much but as iranian i ont like to mix Norouz celebrity with any kind of religion,

norouz is a part of national heritage of all IRANIAN people, Norouz is a national event not religious,

with out Norouz there is no iranian identity, norouz is one pilar of our nationality,

that s the reason why i dont like any kind of mixing norouz with religion

  • @Fravahar

O Pardon! Naw Ruz is a Celtic-Canadian event on March 21 of every year, year after year since forever. It is the time for the spirits to celebrate the new year, the new day, the new like, i do like, it goes beyond nations and borders and everything old mixes together with everything newnawnewnawnew. Ha-ha-ha!

Welcome! Failte! to the newnawrooz. Slainte! We have passed beyond the world of names. Let's dance like Persians.

  • @finallyigotthrough pardon me lol CANADA is how old ?

now rouz is an old iranian name,

you can see in pasrahad and persepolis ruins over 2500 years old the iranian kings celebrating it, and at that time it was an old issue, so plz

i am not talking about ONLY celebration of 21 of march, i am talking about now ruz

this is the most important NATIONAL holiday and celebration in IRAN, my people sacrifiecd their lives to celebrate it, go and search history

  • @Fravahar i meant pasargad

  • @Fravahar

Canada is 157 years young and it's huge. Canada has a just set of ethics espoused by its government and it is held in very high regard by all nations and people of the world that uphold similar ethics. Canada is bought, built and sold on multiculturalism and freedom of religious beliefs. This is how Naw-Ruz became a Celtic Canadian event. May as well get used to it. Some things, no soul can prevent. Naw Ruz now marks the beginning of all things made new.

  • @Fravahar , well Baha'u'llah was an Iranian person, he liked to share his Iranian cultures with his followers all around the world, now days all none Iranian Bahais are celebrating Naw-Ruz as their Bahai new year. I think we should be happy that Naw-Ruz is world wide.

    tnQ

  • @Fravahar

Dear friend, Be happy that Baha'u'llah was from Iran and wanted the Nawruz celebration and indeed respect for the enduring culture and civilization of Cyrus the Great become globally respected and celebrated.

  • I can certainly understand how you feel, but you must understand that Naw Ruz is different for Baha'is because Baha Allah made Naw Ruz a holy day in the Baha'i religion. Some Persian Baha'is might even find it difficult to think of Naw Ruz in this way because it is such a national holiday in Iran, as you said. But for Baha'is who are not Iranian, to us, it is only a holy day in our faith, and we don't know it as an Iraninan national day.

  • @binudajajah thank you very much, then NOW TUZ is pehaps one of the bases of iranianNATIONAL identity, iraniasn have defended this day even woth theirown life, thousends of years, it is perhaps not understandable for NON-IRANIANS, i respect bahai peopele and i am deply sorry about crimes of islamic regimeagainst bahahi peopel in iran but sorry to say, in my opinion as a nationalist iranian, it is a comöiete changing of the meaning of this secular celevrity of now rooz thx

  • @Fravahar NOW RUZ NOW ROOZ noroz

  • @Fravahar It is good that Naw Ruz is so special for you and your national identity. Iran has so much to be proud about. It is a very great nation! I hope to visit her someday with all my heart. Thank you for your sympathy for my Baha'i brothers and sisters in your country. It is a tragedy, but this is the crime of a few powerful individuals, and not the average citizen of Iran. I have yet to meet an Iranian who isn't an exceptional human being like yourself.

  • @Fravahar Norouz is actually a religious festival. Its the Zoroastrian new year, its a tradition that has survived the Islamic conquest of Iran.

  • NowRuz has 6000 years of mythology and 3000 years of history! It is celebrated in every land that once formed ancient Persia. Wars and invasions have never interrupted it. Iranian Bahais do enjoy NowRuz as their national heritage. But NowRuz is also a Holy Day in the Bahai Faith. Majority of millions of Bahais in the world are not Iranians! NowRuz is also celebrated in every continent and among every culture not as a National day but as a Holy Day. Iranian Bahais are twice as fortunate!

  • Oh My god, this is so beautiful, why haven t i heard of her before...

  • azadi ye din az osool e hoghogh bashar ast din yek bavar e shakhi st ama faramoosh nakonim keh bahhii at ham ghoraan ra ghabool darad ham davazdah emam va va va bahaii ha ham ensan haye khoobi hastand vali ta vaghti ghodrat nadashteh bashand oon ha ham agar ghodrat dashteh bashand mesle digar adian beh hameh kar e ma kar !!! khahand dasht mesl e eslam

  • you bahaj,s people are naive , religion is story that made by a mankind .

these stories brought human misery in history of mankind Papa.

  • First learn how to spell "Bahai" Then learn how to respect !! If you don't believe in religion that's your way of thinking and no one should criticizes you because that is your right. Plz respect beliefs of people around you as you expect the same.

  • bah bah

  • Nice!

  • I used to watch these Baha'i videos and enjoy the peaceful comments people used to make. But now 'certain' people cannot keep their ignorance to themselves; where ever they speak or reside only hate and destruction manifests. 1400 years proves you cannot live in peace with others, your capacity to understand, reason and think logically is severely impaired. So please if you have nothing nice to say don't say anything at all, at least this way you don't embarrass yourselves.

  • che del neshin

  • wooooow ham honarmandi too daf , ham khoshgel , ham khosh seda.....

  • iran is a beautiful country with variety of religions, and cultures, unfortunately the muslims in iran think that the country only belong to them,

  • hahahahaha

    ajab username khafani dari

  • in respond to msohaey ,which he is right I like to add that bahai people stealing our neoruz and our poems and attaching our Iranian heritage to made in England religion ,please read kasravi,s book about your prophet

Bahais attaching persian culture ,calendar, new year to their belief which is as far as I am concern is only a cult.

all religions are history and brought war and hate ,all of them should looked as a bad dreams chorchor

  • WTF? Its a shame to separate people based on their religion. Who cares what religion people follow? Seriously what difference does it make ? We're all Iranians. We all have the same heritage. I am not a Bahai and never had a Bahai friend, but I know what you say is crap. Nurooz is for every Iranian no matter what religion he/she has.

  • Iranian tradition noting to do with any religion this is the point i.

Iranian tradition is for Iranian period chorchor

  • Naw Ruz is actually celebrated in all parts of the world by Baha'is of all nationalities. This is because Baha'u'llah designated it as the Baha'i new year alongside the traditional new year. So there are Peruvian Indians, North Americans, Australian Aboriginees, Falkland Islanders etc etc who celebrate Naw Ruz on the same day. Some of these people know more about the history of Naw Ruz than I do !

  • Ur wrong buddy, Muslims or what ever, put Koran in 7sin, that's the problem. The real Iranian Put Gatha or ShahNameh, but not Koran, which belongs to the Muslims. Think If you use some other Holly book at the Muslims New year (Eyde Fitr). Make Muslims Happy for that?

  • Again, crap! Which Muslim's new year? Iranian's never ever had another new year celebration other than Norouz. Eyde Fetr is just a religious thing. And some more, you've got the spirit of Norouz wrong. It's all bout spring, getting together and celebration. Quran, Shahname, Sib, Sir, are just symbols. You are sticking to the symbols and I'm talking about the concept and the spirit.

  • @amonsterinlaw " but I know what you say is crap" Wut who says?

  • @forzaitaly1 I dont know, some random guy said Norouz is not for Bahais, and I said this is crap. Norouz is for evey iranian everywhere in the world.

  • @amonsterinlaw . . My friend Norouz is a Iranian new year no matter what religion, by the way I 'm Baha'i as well. But Baha'i took it to every corner of the world because it' s a Holiday in Baha'i calender. So every nation who' s religion is Baha'i will celebrate the Norouz . From East to West , North to South of earth. God the all - Glorious

  • INNOCENT QUESTIONS FOR BAHA'IS: I am searching for someone to explain the meaning and benefit of some Baha'i writings form the kitab-i-aqdas. They are in my video: Some Baha'i Writings. Here is one (and please don't delete my comment): " "Should anyone intentionally destroy a house by fire, him also shall ye burn; should anyone deliberately take another’s life, him also shall ye put to death." -Baha'u'llah

Why should we burn people??? Is this literal??? Seems it has to be. How is this helpful?

  • That would be a Shangrila. It take a lot of oppenss and respect to each other so people can walk in their own path to God.

But this lady with a beautiful voice was not playing the Daf, someone else was doing it. Interesting

  • Looking forward to the day that all religions can practice in peace and safety in our beautiful land and we can hear Marjan in Talar Rudaki .

  • Beautiful IRAN doe not need a bunch of feafull peopple who have been supported by British and american.IRAN needed the BAHAI s participate in ally against human crime in Iran which many of them refused as tey have been told .Shame on them.JAVID IRAN

  • @TheNoBullShit

    Javid-joon,

Ah, now, don't be a pouter. Baha'is are required to be employed and self-supporting.

Happy Naw Ruz! Boosay Iranibiday, Cooocheeloooo!

'Aini Bahai' is the name of the Program that i took this perfomance out of it.

Also all bahais around the world celebrate Norooz, it is beginnig of the Bahai calendar too.

  • Bravo Mehran,

Thanks for a great clip and for your open mind.

    I love her voice....

  • Shirio, nobody ever expects you to do that. You are not supposed to be come a Muslim first in order to be a Baha'i. I am a Baha'i and never had to first declare myself a Baha'i. Do not creat paradoxes just to say you do not wish to be a Bahaì. Choose zoroastrianism, if that makes you happy.

  • Bravo Kavehmoosa,

Iranians NEED more - many more - open minded people like you and Mehran.

Thanks, --I only believe in god and open minded people...not ANY religion; which always divides people instead of uniting--

  • Sirius Magi

the purpose of The Baha'i Faith is to Unite the all Humanity

If religion be a cause of war and hatred, its better to dont have any.

  • Religion IS the cause of war and hatred. Moreover their teaching all contradict each other, they can't all be true so which one is?

  • Are you angel or is it only your voice that is like an angle?

This is nothing to do with Bahai' religion. nor does it have anything to do with Islam or christianity. I was going to post this very very very beautiful song some where else, but now i can't because they will think i'm a Bahai. I don't hate Bahai' people but I am a muslim. I think every one is entitled to their relgion and if they are iranian they should be given the same exact right as other iranians.

  • well the name of program was "Aine Baha'i".

what is wrong with being a bahai that you don't like others think that you are a bahai?

1st, This Poem is for Nawruz. eid aamd o eid aamad....

2nd, u can tribute it to anyone !

3rd, i don't know how much u know about the Baha'i Faith! but we believe that the Prophets Moses, juses, Muhammad, Bab and Baha'u'llah all are from one truth and all are manifestations of God. So if u believe in one of them u automatically believe in all of them and if u don't believe in one of them u don't believe in any of them.

  • Dear Mehran9,

This is exactly my point. This poem is definitely for adieh mab'as of Prophet Mohammed (PBUM). It is not about Nowrouz. As an Iranian certainly I love Nowrouz but my point is that this poem is on something else.

  • even tho if this Poem is about Prophet Muhammad, still it doesn't mean that we use it for our Benefit, because we blieve in Muhammad.

    Thanks

  • If you really belive in Muhammed (PBUM), didn't he say that I am the God's last prophet?

  • very well said

  • dosnt matter who its a tribute to, Its Persian poetry and belongs to Persians not moslems so suck it.
