That movie was SO sad! What got me the most was that he blamed himself for her death. Don't ever second guess life. Take whatever opportunities that come up for the benefit of others. Live life with your friends and family as if it was your last.

it is not a love story... it's a true friendship story... and leslie dying symbolizes innocence dying when growing up since leslie herself was a symbol of innocence. I cried when I read the book. it's sad and great that way. if it was a happy ending, it wouldnt've been good.
