  • @MegaDriftz running at 4ghz the suggestion of a fan and heat sink are out of the question. It would be hot enough to cook a pizza with even a real high end heat sink.

  • @MegaDriftz That was just one cpu cooler example, but there are tons of cpu coolers at a good price point that will do a great job cooling this cpu. Another good one I heard of is a coolermaster one (v6 i think its called)

  • @MegaDriftz you've probably made your pick by now, but if not, then yes, it should run FSX just fine @ ultra. Any decent heatsink will be fine as this AMD CPU won't get as hot as intel cpus within the same range. From experience the Gelid Tranquillo CPU cooler will see mid 50's and a very affordable price range. (that's if your looking at lower prices) hope that helps

  • What would you recommend for a gaming pc?

-AMD Phenom II 965 Black Edition

    or

    -AMD Phenom II X6 1090T

    pls reply:)

  • @spacejayNL Hello, if your budget is tight, go for the 965. "Currently" for gaming, the 965 will be equal or even slightly(very) faster in some games.Thats because no game that I know of uses 6 cores yet or even 5. The 1090T is great and more future proof. I hope that helped you and i'll leave you to pick =).

  • @BoxeoP4P Thank you for your quick response:) You maybe know a good motherboard for around 50-80 euro's? Thats between 68 USD and 110 USD:)

  • @spacejayNL my pleasure! Is your case itx, matx atx or eatx?

  • @BoxeoP4P was the Phenom II X4 965 only made in Black Edition?

  • @gazzxr yup, only the black edition amd 965

  • I love this proc. I got it paired with a 5870 from XFX.

  • @cellphonelightsaber yeah, its a great cpy, esp for gaming!

  • great cpu

    Thank you

  • @fune2010 your welcome =) and thanks for watching

  • Is there a way i can put this processor in my laptop? please help

  • @and108king It depends the socket of your mobo, its age, also if the CPU is soldered onto the motherboard (on older laptops). I would defintely NOT put a desktop CPU into a laptop mobo socket, even if it fit perfectly and it was a matching socket type. It could/would damage your laptop internals, due to voltage problems, it'll cause battery problems and heating issues, to name a few major problems.

  • @and108king There is an exception with a few HIGH END laptops which may possibly use desktop CPUs. But it doesnt sound like this is your case, or u wouldnt be asking about this

  • @and108king Also if you really, really want to to be sure, give your laptop manufacturer an e-mail OR a phone call (or both) and ask them your questions. They will give you your answer to put your queries at ease. Good luck!

  • @BoxeoP4P Thanks So Much

  • @Zraupp10 thats correct, its 8MB total...512KB L1 Cache, 2MB L2, and 6MB L3
