Nobody, including RT does news anymore. The closest thing we get to news are news bites. We have multiple 24 hour/day news channels but they structured in such a way that nothing is ever covered in depth, you just get 2 minute sound bites played over and over and in 20 different ways.

I think its better for people to seek news online than on television. I have stopped watching news on tv because its repetitive and too glamorous. Instead turn to internet sources. News will ALWAYS be packaged and biased to a degree, so its better for people to search for their truth by comparing what others say, thinking rationally, and looking at conflicting sides. It stimulates thought and reinforces independent thought. Something that Americans have traded away for the convience of "tv" news

Nobody, including RT does news anymore. The closest thing we get to news are news bites. We have multiple 24 hour/day news channels but they structured in such a way that nothing is ever covered in depth, you just get 2 minute sound bites played over and over and in 20 different ways.

I agree that American mainstream media is unreliable but people seem to forget about independent media like Democracy Now and Alternative Radio which came from America. And what is with an opinion that all media which doesn't come from America is somehow reliable. It's not. No media is reliable. You have to watch and read a lot about a certain topic and use critical thinking to come to a reasonable conclusion about that certain topic. And if you want reliable news, become a journalist.

When I look at Fox I think It is just terrible, escpecially that O'reilly. It always comes down to this, if you do not agree with them you are an idiot, not a patriot or / and you do not have the right to have an opinion. They never let people finish what they have to say. So the conversation really is about nothing. Also the conversation is very short so no depth in any of the stories or interviews that I have seen. I think its better for people to seek news online than on television. I have stopped watching news on tv because its repetitive and too glamorous. Instead turn to internet sources. News will ALWAYS be packaged and biased to a degree, so its better for people to search for their truth by comparing what others say, thinking rationally, and looking at conflicting sides. It stimulates thought and reinforces independent thought. Something that Americans have traded away for the convience of "tv" news

If you were to understand the phrase social engineering and the elements used to manipulate the mass psychology, the American people are going through what the Germans did under National Socialism. It's not that Americans are dumber than others, but there has been a very concentrated effort to create docile citizens that depend on the State for protection, guidance, etc. and it's been very effective.

@firestrings272 I agree with you, but my generation is seeing because we aren't allowed anything, and we're trapped. There going to have a hard time getting us married, procreate and everything else. We don't depend on the state; that's not the issue. We have to serve so many directions at once, especially the white worker class that shall die if it has a break. I pledge loyalty to my company for which it stands under this territory of law in which we all speak the same tongue.

Just google the Pike committee and also G HW Bush during his tenure as CIA Director and how he refused to give the names of CIA assets within the News agencys during the 70s. The New York Times, Washington Post and LA times are the mouth pieces of the government. Just look what happened to Gary Webb. We have not had a free media for a very long time.
