but now im eleven and when i was 10 i starved myself and everyone i knew said i was 'too' skinny but i didnt think i was and now im eleven and people sometimes say it.

I just wanted 2 say that this video is GORGEOUS!!!! and also anorexia and bulimia are NOT "diseases or illnesses" they are disorders but not diseases, whether it's the voice telling you you aren't good enough, or your parents or friends, or if you just want attention...theres millions of different reasons and not one of them could make these disorders into a disease...sorry if I offened anyone I don't see how I could have but I still hope I didn't...I just felt a need2 say whats on my mind.

because when you starve. you're body starts to change all the energy into fat. because the body knows you aren't getting any nutrients. therefore, you actually gain.

Your glycogen water pool will be used up so you have no energy but your fat reseves,3000 cals equals about a pound of fat so fat loss is gradual and would not be noticable in 5 days.Unfortunatly simply starving and not eating less than your net energy input will lead first of all to bloating and water retention hence your weight gain,and muscle loss,hairyness(lanugo)as your body attempts to keep warm and scaly skin(no protein for repairs) Eat fruit and Veg and theres no need to starve!

Bulemia and anorexia is such a contradiction...trying to look better by getting so skinny you look horrible. I'm sure as hell not anorexic, but I can tell that this is nowhere near perfection...this is diseased and often even quite nasty looking.
