  • Thx Ron !

    Jon from phx

  • I think the best places to detect would be places with a lot of travel, large popular beaches where people will lose stuff while on vacation, ect. a good way to get landowners to allow you to detect would be to offer some of the keep to them, maybe 75/25 or even 50/50, better than nothing.

  • Great info Ron! helped me alot..Thanks and HH!

  • I just recently Found some old greenish Brass Amo casing on a grassy knoll in Dallas Texas, I was told that it being in a city & national park historic area their might be some issues if reported ???

  • @SOLIE6226 :LOL

  • Great Tips Ron!

  • good comments good vid ron

i belive 100% in what u have to say, would be silly not too as i seen your finds,

as i have no detectorists to buddy up with, i may sneak hunt now and then,

but am lucky to live in ausralia, where all beaches are free to go to, very little detectorists , except for the gold prospectors

  • thanks dude

  • thanks for all the tips !!!!

  • nice video!!!!!! i got my metal detector from the garret website very good detectors

    thanks for the infomation!!!!

that will help me a lot!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • isn't it illegal to metal detect in places that anywhere that isn't your property? i looked it up on google and it is illegal in Arizona where i live :( should i just do it anyway?

  • I also agree with tuning your ears to what is under the earth, I carry 1 copper penny, 1 silver dime and 1 silver quarter with me to get me adjusted every time I go out.

  • Good video, I agree with the rules and we keep in good with potential property owners, keeping a good reputation and giving us more opportunity to detect!

  • nice vid

  • dude great job sharing info for the greater good of the hobby!

Eat the get rich quick’s! lol

  • Nice video ! Great information , thanks allot !!!

  • Great info. Though, I would add to learn to keep your mouth shut if you find a catch or hoard. If no one knows what you took, then no one can take it from you...and don't talk to me about "doing the right thing". It's finders keepers!

  • Great info.

  • Are u in prison?

  • @graysondigger no, he is in a garadge.

  • Thank you

  • Great video ! Thanks . Keep it clean .

  • Good info, Ron. We all thank you not just Ben of who I wish I knew cause Ben and I could possibly team up seeing as how we're both in Georgia.

Thanks again my friend for the info, if you have any other tid bits let us hear from you.

GOD BLESS and thanks for keeping a clean language video, cause my grand kids love watching but don't need the language lessons. I'm sure a lot a young people watch.

  • hey Ron thanks for the info, that's a really good point about the old farms and ranches....i didn't know they could only do one acre at a time, unless its different in Canada, only one way to find out!. my grandpa owns a huge ranch with two old houses on the property still standing, i totally forgot about them too! come spring I'm gonna be there right away!

  • Outstanding suggestions & Tips Ron...See you out there again soon...Dave

  • Hey Ron, very well-said. Thanks for offering this to the new guys.

  • Great video. Thanks for posting it!

  • We need to fight these laws that prohibit metal detecting. We restore historical artifacts. We bring coins into circulation, we keep lands clean. We are an important part of American back bone. Don't out law metal detecting !! Fill in your holes and respect the rules !! Call your governor and change the laws, we should have the Freedom to recover treasure!!

  • Great tips

    HH

  • great video series. thanks for posting it.

  • Great tips. I always try to make every site I hunt look as though I was never there. That's the goal. Your videos are all top notch. I appreciate the respect you give to our hobby.

  • very informative video thx!

  • compliments,

education and respect are two rules I always use when I go hunting with md, even in dirty places

    hello george

  • Great info. for all!

  • Good stuff Chicago Ron.

  • Great video Ron! People DO need to learn the basics. I also think alot of the learning should be done in your own yard. You never know what you'll find and the only persons property being damaged is your own.I've been going to some parks and finding holes left open and trash laying on the ground next to it. Grrr! Those are the acts that'll be the cause of "No Metal Detecting" signs being put up in all of our city parks.Come on folks like Ron says.Let's do it right so we can do it for a long time

  • very well done video.

  • good vid cheers, Ron!

  • Thanks Ron, Put together a You tube video on your top 25 or 50 finds. Cause we know you like to travel to europe and we like your vids so show everyone what can be had by metal detecting.
