Bill Maher is frustrating me... I agree with him mostly, but he doesn't give his interviewees a chance to explain themselves before ridiculing them, and so he comes across as quite arrogant and smug. Plus, it's so heavily edited that you can't really believe the flow of dialogue to be accurate. Basically, it's a comedy, not a documentary. Entertaining though... the first half of the film was better.

These Judaic , christianity, islam, and the rest of all religions are just a competition against each other. they will all preach that Mohammed is our hero, or jesus is the way, or the second messiah will bring us enlightenment, when really they are all competing against each other and bringing bullshit to this world. You'll have ppl who will say that they are right and u ppl who will disagree and that in turn will cause war. Religion in general is bullshit and that is why it is going down

am arabic and all the translation is wrong he didnt say "i dont find jew funny" in matter of fact he didnt even say "jew"

Yeah the violent muslim, conquering half the world, just because the oh so peaceful christians invadet their country, captured their holy city and killed EVERY SINGLE PERSON in it. The Christians would never react like that. But Oh Wait! Bill Maher is frustrating me... I agree with him mostly, but he doesn't give his interviewees a chance to explain themselves before ridiculing them, and so he comes across as quite arrogant and smug. Plus, it's so heavily edited that you can't really believe the flow of dialogue to be accurate. Basically, it's a comedy, not a documentary. Entertaining though... the first half of the film was better.

@StarfireEKS It's because he's not as intelligent as he'd like the viewers to believe, and he is more interested in propagating his own beliefs than provide a balanced look at the absurdities of religion. He's a comedian, not a journalist. Check out 'Louis Theroux' on YouTube for an example of someone who pokes fun at the ridiculous corners of society, but who also lets his interviewees speak. There are is a video on Christianity, and one on the Phelps Family (anti-homosexuals...)
