Great musician. Down to earth. I don't know why people get pushy or in a rush for a musicians next album. It is a compliment for the musician to know people like their music but it takes time and energy to make soulful tasteful music. Musicians want to make sure they sound great, hell, one will play a music section over and over just to get it right. Alex seemed a little pressured while talking about his next album awaiting to be complete.

wish he would have showed that tuning technique he was talking about :/ i HATE the "normal" way of tuning and harmonic tuning is ok but i just don't like it :/

@sblopez08 He was just talking about how he didn't understand why the guitar was tuned by 4ths until the B string, which is a 3rd of the G. So because of that he just tunes all the strings by 4ths.

Well as usual Alex does make an excellent point in the tunnig.After 14 years playing I tuned my guitar this way and after 3 months i´m very happy.....it really improves the phrasing......I really recomend ..but in the first month it's F***d Up to reset from the "old ways"

I have been listening to guitarists since the 70s, and I can honestly say that Alex is the most satisfying player that I have every come across. He has the perfect blend of technique, soul, passion, control and just supreme talent. I can't think of ever having such anticipation for an album. Quite frankly it is amazing that I can think so highly of an artist that has not even got a product out! Just pick any jamtrack that he has a video for and prepared to be floored!

I can't wait for the album. Im buying it as soon as it hits the market. I don't often buy CDs on the whim without listening to a few songs for awhile and get to like the songs but with Alex Im really positively sure, it's going to be DYNAMITE. Really inspirational and a pleasure to hear. Nice melodic riffs and licks. Not like overblown shredding fast runs which sometimes makes no sense at all which is why I have stayed away from metal lately.
