On question one, do you think that the reason we see less female atheists is because...

a) there ARE less atheists that happen to be female, or

b) female atheists are less prone to get involved in atheism in youtube?

According to a recent pew study, the number of female atheists are probably not significantly less than the number of male atheists. So your b) theory seems more likely.
