@WhiteSunRising If you're doing PvP, go human. Racial means double PvE trinkets, which I think is more useful than the gnome racial, when you have cloak and vanish anyway.

@WhiteSunRising don't go for gnome. you got enough cds to break a slow/root and you can even prep those. night elf isn't a bad choice, as you can e.g. shadowmeld to negate 1 spell (or a shatter if you're sitting in a nova) each 2 mins which at times, can save you. however, you should really go for human. double trinket is a nice dmg variation. with their racial, they are practically made for pvp (like undead for horde)

@WhiteSunRising it would be helpful to know, if you're completely new to the game or not? like frost is the pvp spec for mages, sub is the pvp spec for rogues. you CAN go assasination but i can tell you from personal experience that sub is more fun and while you won't do as much dmg on one target over a great amount of time, you are really bursty as sub. for pve, go assasination and watch a tutorial here on youtube. there are plenty.
