Hmm...the only tip I'd give anyone is make sure the glissandos are in the time and rhythm indicated. It's really not in a "key" per se, it's kind of in a weird, harmonic minor sort of mode.
Nice piece. And I can see Rita Haworth. Or Yvonne de Carlo, Rhonda Fleming or Arlene Dahl in some 1950's Arabian flick with cheap sets and hammy acting. But hey, they're all fun. Great job!
This is one of my fav pieces. ^ ^ I love the way you play it - very different than how I do. I mean, same music, but you have this..jumpy thing? in it. :P
MY harp teacher told me on my first lesson that it is a hugely addictive instrument... one person he knew "even got to playing in bed ..first thing in the morning."
Haha, what a far cry from your other videos wherein you are in a tuxedo and what appears to be a concert hall. But the playing skill is the same--magnificent!
I grew up on film score music like this. Actually, for being "cheesy" as you suggest, it is still very beautiful. And yes! Yes! Like a Rita Hayworth movie....too funny - ahhHHH!
I found the piece sight readable. Don't know the publisher offhand, but go to Lyon and Healy West's website and look up "Magic Road", it's in that collection.
This piece brings me into the Egyptian world, watching all the peasants build the pyramids as the sun sets into dusk! Wow!

I'm not quite sure what a "new version of my inner tune" is, but it sounds sensational. :) Thanks for listening, take care!
