Great job on this guys! I don't get the tone deaf comment. Can't please everyone I guess. I bought your CD, and just have to say I like every song on there. Really nice start. Here's my request for CD #2... this song, and 1952 Vincent Black Lightning. Awesome job with both. On the Vincent song, I saw you gave due credit to Richard Thompson, but you might also want to mention the Del McCoury Band for their awesome arrangement. Keep it up guys, you are going to go FAR!
Wow! Wonderful! You guys have a new fan! Been a semi-semi-professional musician for 20ish years, and, from my POV, you guys have "it"! Nothing is force here. You both look very comfortable, which is vital to being a musician. Josh, you've got some real talent on the sixer. After playing bass for all these years, I'm finally getting around to learning guitar. I'm not ashamed to say you're better than me!
@ModestCasanovaa I respect anyone that has a passion for music and believe that these two illustrate that perfectly. So we agree to disagree. I can live with that. Good luck to you and your sister
I have watched this video over and over, you guys really do a great job I see a bright future for you all in the music world, do you have a cd that can be bought that you did yourself, and how would I go about getting it from you, thanks Todd
@ryleep123 Thank you very, very much. Our band is called The Other Favorites, and we have an album out called "Novelty" which you can find on Amazon and iTunes.
This makes amateurs, like me, look like fools... that makes me want to delete all my videos and rethink my abilities. lol That was so well put together it's mind blowing! Great job!
Fine performance. It brings back good memories, and it's refreshing to see young musicians playing and singing great tunes like this. Your voices blend beautifully.
Mr McKee's voice sounds familiar... Maybe his accent is similar to another singer I've heard recently. Keep posting, Mr Turner! You're talent and musical tastes are exactly what I like. Merry Christmas, good luck with final exams, and enjoy your break!
Very clean. Dylan, meets Simon and Garfunkle. Good on you both, you have a boat load of talent. I would enjoy your take on "Route 66," if you get a chance. Thanks, for the stellar tunes.
You guys are awesome....it has been fun watching your music grow. My grandson Brandon Muske says he knew you from Holland, Michigan way back when...He is in G.R. now.
@bveine It's a Zoom H2 Handy Recorder. We love it, it is a superb little piece of equipment. Zoom just released an even fancier but still remarkably well priced variant called the H2n, check it out as well.
In this day and age of amazing home studio synthesizers this is such an excellent testament to the richness of a solo acoustic guitar. Obviously, Josh Turner is a major musical talent. And I love Carson's baritone drawl...I could listen to Carson all day long and never get tired of it. These guys are gonna be HUGE!!!
Very, very good guys.!. You are both blessed to have that talent. Just remember to thank the Lord daily for your gifts, and keep Him at the forefront of your lives.
You guys have come so far since that Wagon Wheel video (the first video i saw, also the vid that turned me on to you guys), great voices, great guitar playing, keep it up!
Love your music, keep posting those songs. I cant believe you guys have not been picked up for a recording deal your great. When you are picked up I am first in line to buy your CD
Fantastic...missed seeing you this weekend at another Turner wedding, but so glad you got to do this instead! Always loved this song & you guys just perfected it for me! Thanks!
You guys internalized that song, and then you've expressed it back out with a finesse that breathed life into it. I don't mean to be overly dramatic, but shoot...
You guys touch me. Instead of being out drinking, doing drugs, going to rock festivals, there you are enjoying your own good music. Great guys you are. We appreciate you and your music. Take care. :o)
Hi! Carson, it's people like you that makes people like me appreciate sheer talent. To say the least your musical skills are out of this world and your friends are lucky to share their talents with you. I'm almost sure that your site is geared towards viewers listening and enjoying, and enjoyment is what my ears experience. I'm in the process of learning the guitar and you need not read on any further if you like. But I have a tutorial request, Blind Faith "Can't Find My Way Back Home" Thanks!
I don't think you know how much I enjoy your videos. I get really excited to see new ones come up on my feed. :) You and all the people in your videos are incredibly talented. God bless all of you! :)

This is about the 15th time I have watched this vid. I'm amazed at how easy
you make it look. Talent like you guys possess needs to be nurtured and
expanded. It would be a waste if you just pursued it as a hobby. Share it
with the world. Keep on keeping on!
