We would of been out in space colonizing the Moon and Mars by now if we had a more sensible foreign policy and a free market economy within the last 100 years.

A free market wouldn't have so many government regulations that limits innovations and attempts for space. Because we have a bad economic system now, budgets are the main reason for our hold up for going into space.
