I just got RemoteJoyLite working again recently. It's a bit of a pain getting it to work with Win7 but once you get past it it isn't that bad. Getting a good upscaled resolution from 480x272 can get problematic, though.
(Since you asked about quality on Twitter, 2 hours ago I thought I'd make a comment about it here.) I think it's a bit grainy and could definitely be better, but if you were to do an LP of the whole game like this then it would probably do fine.
