  • Tony stark??

  • Excellent!! :D

  • one thing which has surprised me when I learned to know about Pino, is that he is using rounds strings on fretless and then flats when he switched on fretted bass, which is the opposite of "normal use" with fretless (flats) and fretted (rounds) bass... I kept that finally what is important is the result in terms of sound, whatever the common habits, and he is a fantastic musician for this mind and approach of music...

  • @ghostmetal955, never used flats on fretless basses: I want them to be growling and meowing!

  • I love your sound, very precise.

The flatwounds on a Jazz doesn't so lovely. Too bad, cauz I have a Jazz lol

  • Great bass video Alessio!!!!! and this bass is very good!!!

  • Nice feel !!

  • Mi piace molto ! :]

  • @mozione, grazie mille!

  • You Did it again IronMan!!

have you covered I Don't Trust Myself?

if you haven't i suggest you do!!

    the Bassline is very intricate.

    Good Job man :)

    always enjoyed your covers.

  • @turkasaurusrex, I don't remember that line very well, but I don't think it's worse than this one! Thanks for the apreciation!

  • nice flat! and thanks for your vids. still thomastik flats strung on this one? what amp are you using?

  • @hanibalsegreat, always and only thomastik flats on my P-Bass! The amp, as weird as it might seem, is a 120W Hartke Kickback 12" (the best trade off I found with price, power, weight and dimensions) with the bass plugged into an EBS multicomp. My Live Rig is a 560W Mark Bass Head with a MB 4*10 800W cab (plus Tech 21 Sansamp as a pre and a dbx 160A compressor)

  • @ato71 I play on a markbass little mark II head, with small marbass cabinet traveller 1x12", which is little in space and weight but big by its sound ! (never got defeated on scenes smaller than stadium lol, of course it does not have sub bass frequencies but it is really impressive for a small and unique speaker... )

  • you get cool warmy sound with the flats on the P-bass, nice cover

  • @ato71 this only thing which is a defect with the traveller cabinet is the tweeter which get bad distorted with powerfull active bass such as the musicman but I get enough high frequencies with the tweeter on "off" position so...)

  • very nice work......Nice John Mayers song!

  • Can't argue with Flats on a P-bass

  • You gotta be kidding me! Thats soon!!

And damn thats accurate! Uve proven yourself again sir!

That lick at 1:52 is my favorite!

Definitely my favorite bass line, played by my fav player on yt! Thanks for much!! :D

  • @FreaquedeMusique: I can only "study" in the week end so I've had to do it fast, infact i think it's not that accurate!

  • @ato71 For how many times I've heard the song (millions of times C;), it sounds really accurate!!
