@giovannierivera The version I used was xcode 3.2.6. xcode is not installed by default but it is included with the Snow Leopard installation disk. I would recommend installing it from your Snow Leopard disk because Apple is now charging $5.00 for xcode.
@positive52010 No you don't need a developer account. It will prompt for one but if you just click cancel it will let you through. Being offline has nothing to do with anything. Please don't miss guide people.
@giovannierivera Multitasking gestures were available in the beta of 4.3 for iPod Touch and iPhone but Apple has removed this functionality from the final version.
I can confirm that. XCode 3.2.6, connected to iPod Touch 4th gen running iOS 4.3.1, resulted in the device not showing up in Xcode's Organizer menu. That is, a "Devices" heading didn't even appear in the left sidebar of the Organizer window.
@martinll97 Unfortunately, XCode will only run on OS X. OS X is only designed for Mac computers, but it is possible to run OS X on a PC (Hackintosh). I can't tell you how to do that but there is plenty of information on the internet.
