Maybe Strelok/Gunslinger should be able to play the vanilla S.T.A.L.K.E.R on his PDA. I can easily imagine him complaining about its unrealism compared to the real zone : levels too small and gameplay too damn poor.

Anyway, this new PDA looks funny, it reminds me of the Fallout's pipboy. Of course, this is better. And any Stalker game is cooler than Fallout 3. Lost Alpha will be the Mod of the year.

This is the greatest mod for Stalker I've ever seen! Seriously, this will be better than both the sequels together!

A few questions:

-Have you made any new textures, or are you just using already existing ones? Is it possible to combine the mod with texture packs, say if I wanted to use textures from Stalker Complete?

-You said the story is different. But does that mean that it's like the original, but bigger, or is it a brand new one?

-Are there any changes made in how artifacts are found?

The story: It's about Strelok's first trip to the center of the Zone (not spoiling anything, Dezodor announced this awhile ago).

Textures: Possibly a mix of both, but the hand texture is - in this video - from old Stalker.

Artifacts wise, probably. I know they readded the Artifact Merger feature.

I really loved to play stalker, but i finished it only once with the talk to monolyth in the sarcophagus ending. I enjoyed the majority of the gameplay, but i still think that stalker is a reallty demanding game to play, because it takes a lot of time and needs extreme concentration to play properly. I hope that such things like A.I. not seeing through bushes will be introduced, and maybe an "easier to play" version. I still like the fact of a rebuilt old stalker

Oh, and a quick question. Where do you get the maps from for the LA mod? Because I would suggest to you downloading Build 1935 and 2205. Especially 2205, I suggest you play around with it a bit. ;) It has a lot of fun stuff which got cut out. ;(

lost alpha project was started in 2008, but we used 1935 objects as base, so our maps are similar, just a bit more up to date, and fixed the bugs we found. anyway, we released 2205, so no need to introduce the builds to us :) have fun with them, they are cool :)

it was recorded on a laptop, not a supercomputer, but its not bad stuff. we always play in static lightning mode :) check our moddb site, where you will see our screenshots, so you will understand why we like static lightning mode more :)
