Naw. His "rival" Zangoose is much better. Seviper really only learns 1 good move which is Crunch.

Zangoose on the other hand he can learn Swords Dance/Slash and that makes him ownage. Crush Claw ain't half bad and then there's False swipe. Great for catching Legendaries.
