I dont understand what grunge really is. My freinds tell me i like grunge because i listen Alice In Chains and Nirvana but i consider Alice a heavy metal band and Nirvana an alternative rock band, i didnt grow up in 90's

Nirvana were the kings of grunge so if no matter what music style you consider AIC or Nirvana to play, if you like those two bands you like grunge

think of grunge as that music style between rock and heavy metal

there are like TONS of other grunge bands, Mudhoney, Silverchair, Screaming trees, ..... and there's the first grunge band ever, Mother Love Bone

Grunge isn't back and will never come back. It was one of the best musical movements besides the 60s, and it's gone forever. It disappeared when Kurt Cobain shot himself. It's not gonna come back either as long as new technolody is out not one will get up and create music they'll just search the internet far and wide looking for a band that has any distortion in their guitar playing and call it grunge. lmao. These new artists all look at grunge bands for influence when they should be starting from scratch and look at the grunge band's influences which is why Violent Soho here sounds better than Seether or whatever the fuck kids like these days. I hear more pixies in this than anything. And not once do i hear a Pearl Jam-like yell. Grunge isn't back because this is one band that's still underground to my knowledge, but maybe i like it underground

@Jaberwakiis Yeah, i'm not the fan of ac-dc i used to be. they're style is pretty easy to rip off. Use blues chords and sing about something relating to Rock & Roll. Here's my new track "Rock & Roll Boat" and there, old classic rock fans and 7th graders just realizing there's something beyond pop music buy t-shirts, albums, and concert tickets. Well, atleast through ac-dc you get into some good bands later.
