they don't use the over coats anymore right? they have the regular black turn out gear?

yeah, they got rid of the overcoats and the hip pull up boots. now they just wear that bunker gear. but i liked the old one better

might I ask when you have seen this?
the only people who still wear the 3/4 gear are OFI. there are very strict penatlys for not wearing the new gear (WITHA LL LINERS) which are very strictly enforced.

NFPA got rid of the 3/4 style because it offered less protection.

the chicago fire deapartment sees the use of an air pack on the roof as the operators choice
and the rigs aren't approve but they were in 1999 when this was made
