  • John Denver is the only person who could ever get away with wearing that shirt

  • @ijdgaf323 Ever heard of Jimmy Buffet?

  • His fiddle playing really sucked, but I loved the mans songs. Sorry most of the fiddle playing as dubbed.

  • Lets Go O's

  • its one of the greatest country songs ever, realy weird that john denver wasnt even american, i believe he was from holland, realy says alot about the country way of life that a foreigner with so much talent could live in the city and play other music but chose to sing of the pure and simple ways of the country, god bless john denver

  • @kjmmjmmder come on man, living on a dirt road and going to a small school does not mean you are a country boy. It could just mean your trailer trash that lives in a small town, whats the big deal about that? A country boy is a way of life, not what kinda road you live on, or how big of a school you go to.

  • 2:43 wuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuhhhhhuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu XD

  • I LOVE John Denver Song's! He is my Favourite of ALL Country Music Singers

  • mmh I am new here and i can be shy and nasty too

  • John Denver didn't think of himself as a Country singer, but a singer of the West.

He was raised with Country and Western, But the Country lost the Western. And his songs are of the West, such as Rocky Mnt. High, Sunshine on My shoulds, West Virginia, etc. Only a couple songs such as Thank God I'm a Country Boy, Country Roads Take me Home are Country. But the rest are of what people experience all over the world, and of the West. That is how John Denver described his music. He was a unique man.

  • @TheDaisy8007 Yes... He was a unique man...

  • 114 people aren't country boys

  • Hunting season coming up and so are trips to cabin in WV. thank god for JD.

  • I was a waiter in South Lake Tahoe (Harrahs Casino) The summit and had the privilege

of hosting his large group in their private dining room - during his celebrity charity

ski classic at Heavenly Valley in 1986 - I kind of hung around and listened to his stories as much as possible - quite cool memories the older I get

  • The greatest singer EVER! In the early eighties, I wrote a letter to him, and he sent me a great letter saying that I made his day! He also sent me an autographed picture on it , signed "PEACE!" , John Denver. I will always cherish these

  • @DrambuieOnTheRocks I did the same thing, and received the same in return from John! Unfortunately I lost the autographed photo., but I'll never forget his music and the peace it brought (still brings) to my life!

  • @DrambuieOnTheRocks cool but is he denver junior>?

lol oh and im forgetting something, one of my papas fought at pearl harbor. both papas were regular army.

  • im the truest country boy there is, born and raised in georgia, all my family and relatives have been too going generations back, my family have been farmers on my grannys side and my papas for generations back, my granny lived in back country in the backwoods, my papa lived in the countryside and true countryboys don't like to be called simpleminded or told they can't spell or speak right that'll get the crap knocked out of you. so you're and you alls opinions are not right.

  • @wizardmeditation I'm not saying you're not a country boy and that all that ain't true but...people think otherwise when people have to convince someone that they're country boys.

  • True country boys don't need to spell, cause everyone says ya'll and ain't.

  • I'm a city boy and I still love this song. :D

  • 113 people never met a real country boy

  • @JonahBlack100 Or they could have traded their life for diamonds and/or jewels, are money-hungry, drive in a black limousine, wish they were driving in a black limousine.

Or they could just not like how this recording is a relatively slow quality, and does not do the performance justice.
