I actually am train conductor and it still baffles me how ignorant people are when it comes to trespassing on railroad tracks, tracks are NOT play grounds or walkways, they are VERY dangerous, these aren't cars that can stop in a couple feet it takes a average train 1-3 miles roughly to stop. I have hit 2 vehicles already and I pray that I wouldnt have to hit a person. Do me and everyone a FAVOR STAY OFF THE DAM TRACKS

You never understand the power of a moving trains until you have accidents like this. I have seen many people walking along the tracks near the TT building and wonder if they understand how hard it is to hear the train until it is too late. They can't stop on a dime especially if it's a long freight train. Condolences to the friends and family of the victim as I am sure they probably walked along the tracks many times without incident. The CN Cops come after you because of this on the tracks.

I'm always cautious when I'm crossing the tracks. I went to mhs, so we were close to the train tracks. One year two students were walking along the tracks, apparently they had their winter coats onwith the hoods and didn't hear it until it was really close. Luckily they got out of the way in time, but ever since I heard that I stay away.

heck, even when I cross them going to work on St.George I look both ways just in case.
