I fell in love with Out on a Limb from the first time I heard it, in the 2000's, belive it or not. However, now that some of his other stuff is available on Youtube, and I have been able to hear it, I am definately a fan of Bill Wood and Eye Eye! Bill should have a fan page or something for people like us who still appreciate the work he did back then! I'd even love to hear a new unplugged accoustic track from him.
Well it's about time we pay tribute to true Canadian Rock. Eye Eye is a favorite just like the Pikes and their tour companion Kim Mitchell in the 80's. Keep them coming and let's pass on what this country is lacking in true Canadian rock!
Well, the first album was never on Disc, just vinyl and tape so that was limiting, the second album was a CD release, however I think any hopes of continued pressings or reissues died with Duke St. Records. The music is around though, if you want the physical discs I can't help, even Bill doesn't have any left, but if you are just after the songs then shoot me your email address and I can point you in the right direction to get them.
I see, I think I still have one cassette somewhere and I think I used to have a CD that was an album of new material (at the time) and a couple of songs from the first album?
That cd got lost at a party in about '92 I think. Lol..
Thank you so much for posting another EyeEye video...great memories are flooding back and I'm grinning hearing these old songs again. I was one of those girls with the huge hair who followed the band around. Still have a letter from Bill, autographs from all and a treasured one from Andy which says "Great singing" after I sang on stage at a high school concert. Thank you very much for acquiring & posting!
You are very welcome, Bill is pleased that so many people have warm memories attached to the band. He is a very nice guy and was good enough to provide me with a copy of their videos.
Cool! I just posted a request for these videos and I found them today! A great mainstream tune that should have been slightly bigger, although I believe it did fairly well.
I'd like to tip my hat to the great Toronto area bands of the 80's. Cheers Mark, some crazed pop music fans will remember your name forever. I heard from reliable sources that you were a great guy willing to help others.

(p.s can anyone find me FM dreamgirl or even some New Regime?)

I just read the drummer died in a plane crash in 1990. So sad.
