  • I fell in love with Out on a Limb from the first time I heard it, in the 2000's, belive it or not. However, now that some of his other stuff is available on Youtube, and I have been able to hear it, I am definately a fan of Bill Wood and Eye Eye! Bill should have a fan page or something for people like us who still appreciate the work he did back then! I'd even love to hear a new unplugged accoustic track from him.

  • I had this on a 45...

  • So great to hear this song again!! Memories I tell ya!!!! TY!!!

  • Anyone have the lyrics for this song? Thanks

  • GREAT NEWS FOLKS. EYE EYE IS NOW AVAILABLE ON i TUNES STORE. Common Ground + extras is there for $9.99. Been looking for years for this.

  • Well it's about time we pay tribute to true Canadian Rock. Eye Eye is a favorite just like the Pikes and their tour companion Kim Mitchell in the 80's. Keep them coming and let's pass on what this country is lacking in true Canadian rock!

  • Thanks so much for uploading this!

I still love this song and many others from Eye Eye!

  • Great band, great song.

Can't find the damn CD's anymore!!

  • Well, the first album was never on Disc, just vinyl and tape so that was limiting, the second album was a CD release, however I think any hopes of continued pressings or reissues died with Duke St. Records. The music is around though, if you want the physical discs I can't help, even Bill doesn't have any left, but if you are just after the songs then shoot me your email address and I can point you in the right direction to get them.

  • I see, I think I still have one cassette somewhere and I think I used to have a CD that was an album of new material (at the time) and a couple of songs from the first album?

That cd got lost at a party in about '92 I think. Lol..

  • Probably what Gin Blossoms would sound like in the mid 80's. This song ROCKS!!!!

  • Eye Eye was my favorite band in school! I love all of their songs. Thanks for posting this....would love to find a CD!

  • Drop me a note, I'll put you in touch with Bill. He still has copies of both albums.

  • @kthorricks you can find common ground on itunes

  • Thank you so much for posting another EyeEye video...great memories are flooding back and I'm grinning hearing these old songs again. I was one of those girls with the huge hair who followed the band around. Still have a letter from Bill, autographs from all and a treasured one from Andy which says "Great singing" after I sang on stage at a high school concert. Thank you very much for acquiring & posting!

  • :-)You are welcome, I was one of those boys with huge hair who played in bands so that girls like you would follow us around. lol

  • Thanks for putting this up, I never forgot this song after it came out.

  • Thank you for posting this. I've always loved this song and couldn't find it anywhere.

  • You are very welcome, Bill is pleased that so many people have warm memories attached to the band. He is a very nice guy and was good enough to provide me with a copy of their videos.

  • I just read the drummer died in a plane crash in 1990. So sad.

  • A great band, so missed!

I made them a tribute page on myspace

    myspace com/eyeeyefan

  • Cool! I just posted a request for these videos and I found them today! A great mainstream tune that should have been slightly bigger, although I believe it did fairly well.

I'd like to tip my hat to the great Toronto area bands of the 80's. Cheers Mark, some crazed pop music fans will remember your name forever. I heard from reliable sources that you were a great guy willing to help others.

    Peter (Vancouver)

(p.s can anyone find me FM dreamgirl or even some New Regime?)

  • Funny--I always think of FM when I listen to eye eye.they go together for me..I wish there was more FM on here

  • Thank you for all of the rare treats from a great, and sadly, shortlived band.

  • You're very welcome! I'm just glad that Bill still has the originals to get a copy from. Glad you enjoyed them.
