  • Thanks for the memories Don.Kernodle/Slaughter vs Steamboat/Youngblood was one the best tag team feuds in wrestling i'd ever seen,and drew alot of heat and money back in the early 80's

  • Don Kernodle was one of the most under-rated wrestlers in the world, IMO. I have seen him many times. He held the Mid-Atlantic tag team title with Jim Nelson, then the NWA World Tag Team Title with 3 different partners: Sgt. Slaughter, Bob Orton, Jr., and Ivan Koloff. A good tribute to Johnny Weaver, one of my all time favorites.
