i'm cantonese. she said something about emily is in the room and something with the bed. that was definitely not cantonese. but i understood when you said "emily ha been do ah?" that you were asking where emily was. very cute video!

I think she is speaking 'Toi shan'-a dialect that is similar to cantonese.

We adopted our daughter at 8 months from Hunan so we didn't have that problem ! Neither of you seem to be frustrated by it though. Both of you will learn quickly. Congratulations - she is too stinkin' cute !

she was not speaking cantonese or mandarin. I am a chinese and i got no clue of what she was trying to say. I guess should some local language. You were speaking in cantonse, she could not understand.
