Gosh i cant wait till i can play the french horn like him he is my idol!!! My band teacher told us to find some one to sound like at he is definatly my pick! No question!! GO FRENCH HORN PLAYERS!!!! WE RULE THE BAND!
Ça me ferait presque regretter d'avoir laisser tomber le cor quand j'étais petit! C'est ce genre de choses qu'il faut montrer aux enfants pour leur donner envie de faire de la musique!! :)
you really got the best movies with the best music dude :D I was thrilled to see/hear even Independence Day! a tip of mine would be to listen to the music of "stardust", I think you could do something with that too ;) great music and beautiful horn parts...keep up the good work!
Nice to see some Prince of Egypt and Dances with Wolves love! The theme for Dances with Wolves is gorgeous. And when GWTW started up, definitely some heart swelling going on. Mind blowing arrangement, man. I bet you would sound beautiful playing the love theme from Cinema Paradiso by Morricone - always wanted to hear it on horn.
Will you marry me? I've been a fan of your arrangements for some time now, keep 'em coming!
You're an amazing musician and a fantastic horn player with great range and a beautiful tone (I like to pretend I can play the thing too). Keep it up, well done!
Just wanted to say that you are an absolute BEAST. I don't even play horn, and I can't stop watching your videos. They are the only thing keeping me awake late while I'm doing homework :)
i have a question, was this taken in ONE take? it looks like it but prolly not, but if you are so beast (which you are) and to take it in ONE take...what did you do with your water during recording?
@happypencil12345 I can tell you it took much more than one take ;) I created the whole thing in my head, and then recorded it segment by segment. The first thing I recorded was the intro ( The Sea hawk ). I did all the parts for it and then went on to the 2nd segment ( The Magnificent Seven ), then Willy Wonka and so on...It's litterally hundreds of takes which in the end sound like one !
Wow - you were already really good in your Final Fantasy video, but I must say that your tone has gotten amazingly great! So clear and pure, it's fantastic!
you're a good hornplayer. Where did you find the music and did you make the music for horn? omg I have a lot of questions, because if you did this on your own... you're brilliant. btw, I love the way the songs flow into eachother. sorry for being so curious.
@Marcpapeghin Hey Marc could I email you I would like to ask a few questions about your music selection is it mainly french horns playing? I always believed french horns played more of a background, or more of a glue of the music score as a whole.
Just jizzed, this is horn player porn. It's an insult to us developing players that you aren't in a professional orchestra/featured soloist. You definitely should be.
your transitions are so smooth. I absolutely love what you do!!! I'm so jealous of your perfect pitch. I hope one day you perform w/ the BSO or LSO :)
I would love if you did a Tribute to the musical Wicked,. that Music is awesome,. specially "No One Mourns the wicked" would be fantastic to hear it on Horns,. YOU play like a king,. well done
You are amazing! Thank you so much for these great videos. I was asked at a recent audition if I had an "inspiration" and I let them know about you :) After 12 years of horn playing, I can say there's still so much to learn and I am FAR from becoming the master of the instrument that you are!
Dude that was incredible. Add the fact that you put in music from The Great Race! You should do a tribute to James Horner. He writes the most beautiful melodies for horn in his scores like Cocoon, Field of Dreams, A Beautiful Mind. Keep up the wonderful work!
Thanks for adding the Legend of 1900! I love that movie, but where I am from very few people have heard of it. I can't wait to see more of your uploads! You are an inspirational horn player!
All your productions to date have been excellent, but this latest one really is the canine’s dangly bits! Brilliant arrangements and superb quality video clips blend so well together – hard to believe this standard of entertainment can be enjoyed for nothing on Youtube!
Wonderful. Just plain wonderful. I loved the selections especially the giachinno. I would love 2 see a giacchino horn tribute (noticed your dharma shirt!)
This is truly amazing. You play so beautifully, like it's the easiest thing to do, and I know it is not! I love listening to it and have several times since you upload it.
ya pas à dire sans le corp d'harmonie le cinema hollywoodien à grand spectacle ça n'existerai pas ^^ ya pas beacoup d'instrument dans le classique qui peuvent joué sur autant de registre émotionelle.
That was so bizarre... I was JUST thinking about Charlie Chaplin's version of the song "Smile" (I heard Elvis Costello's version first) when it came on. Excellent selections!
I would now say this was absolutely the best arrangement that you have ever done and is one of the best arrangements for any instrument I have ever heard. Now have you ever considered doing a Howard shore lord of the rings arrangement. The Gollum theme for me was the one where I jumped the most in excitement.
