  • YES! Captain Blood for the opening! Thank you!

  • Oh my. Eargasm! OMG, your one of the best hornplayers in youtube!

  • How many horns is this arrangement for? I WANT IT!

  • why cant I hit like a million times. Freaking wonderful man. To say you are talented is a vast understatement. Awesome!!!!

  • Gosh i cant wait till i can play the french horn like him he is my idol!!! My band teacher told us to find some one to sound like at he is definatly my pick! No question!! GO FRENCH HORN PLAYERS!!!! WE RULE THE BAND!

  • All of your subscribers should write letters to the Academy Awards to get you to play this at the awards ceremony. No really...I'm serious!

  • Ça me ferait presque regretter d'avoir laisser tomber le cor quand j'étais petit! C'est ce genre de choses qu'il faut montrer aux enfants pour leur donner envie de faire de la musique!! :)

  • so effortless on every note. beautiful, videos like this shows why i play the french horn. Good job sir!

  • Ahhh you're just too cool! You are SO SO SO talented. Hip-hooray for horn players!

  • you really got the best movies with the best music dude :D I was thrilled to see/hear even Independence Day! a tip of mine would be to listen to the music of "stardust", I think you could do something with that too ;) great music and beautiful horn parts...keep up the good work!

  • Nice to see some Prince of Egypt and Dances with Wolves love! The theme for Dances with Wolves is gorgeous. And when GWTW started up, definitely some heart swelling going on. Mind blowing arrangement, man. I bet you would sound beautiful playing the love theme from Cinema Paradiso by Morricone - always wanted to hear it on horn.

    I must say, you have amazing chops.

  • This is so awesome!

  • So, do you start with the sheets for these songs and then arrange everything from there, or do you transcribe it all?

  • @Marsuvees1298 It depends...sometimes I use full orchestral scores, sometimes piano transcriptions...and what I have none, I transcribe ;)

  • Will you marry me? I've been a fan of your arrangements for some time now, keep 'em coming!

    You're an amazing musician and a fantastic horn player with great range and a beautiful tone (I like to pretend I can play the thing too). Keep it up, well done!

  • Amazing work Marc!

  • the Prince of Egypt part was so amazing! Thank you :)

  • A quand des arrangements pour quatuor de tous ces magnifiques morceaux ? C'est malheureusement difficile de réunir autant de cornistes :(

  • Ever heard of youtube symphony? you should do that

  • you should write and arrangement of bernard hermanns scene d'amour from vertigo

  • Just wanted to say that you are an absolute BEAST. I don't even play horn, and I can't stop watching your videos. They are the only thing keeping me awake late while I'm doing homework :)

  • i have a question, was this taken in ONE take? it looks like it but prolly not, but if you are so beast (which you are) and to take it in ONE take...what did you do with your water during recording?

  • @happypencil12345 I can tell you it took much more than one take ;) I created the whole thing in my head, and then recorded it segment by segment. The first thing I recorded was the intro ( The Sea hawk ). I did all the parts for it and then went on to the 2nd segment ( The Magnificent Seven ), then Willy Wonka and so on...It's litterally hundreds of takes which in the end sound like one !

  • RESPECT!

  • Wow - you were already really good in your Final Fantasy video, but I must say that your tone has gotten amazingly great! So clear and pure, it's fantastic!

  • From 8:03 : I think it is great i got standing hairs such good is that music, i play french horn on myselfe, but your great...

    sorry for my bad English :/

  • i play the french horn with my friend and we arent half as good as you

  • Great as usual. We need to get you in a hall to record some stuff.

  • can you do an arrangement of pure imagination?

  • you're a good hornplayer. Where did you find the music and did you make the music for horn? omg I have a lot of questions, because if you did this on your own... you're brilliant. btw, I love the way the songs flow into eachother. sorry for being so curious.

  • @isis347 Thanks for the kind words ! I did all of the arrangements myself. If you have any other question...feel free to ask ;)

  • @Marcpapeghin Hey Marc could I email you I would like to ask a few questions about your music selection is it mainly french horns playing? I always believed french horns played more of a background, or more of a glue of the music score as a whole.

  • @pinnpoint Sure feel free to ask !

  • How can we don't like this ?

  • Just jizzed, this is horn player porn. It's an insult to us developing players that you aren't in a professional orchestra/featured soloist. You definitely should be.

  • omg for avatar more instruments come in! percussions, choir, etc. WOWOWOW

    your crazy !!

  • your transitions are so smooth. I absolutely love what you do!!! I'm so jealous of your perfect pitch. I hope one day you perform w/ the BSO or LSO :)

  • Psycho on horns? Inspired!

  • Do a Hans Zimmer tribute!!

  • @daffyduck12345678912 Oh God no. Do a Goldsmith tribute instead!

  • You are amazing! Thank you so much for these great videos. I was asked at a recent audition if I had an "inspiration" and I let them know about you :) After 12 years of horn playing, I can say there's still so much to learn and I am FAR from becoming the master of the instrument that you are!

  • 9:17

    I have no words. So. Beautiful.

  • 1 bastard is deaf

  • Can you put in the score/film titles? :) What a magnificent sound.

  • @SonatinaVirtuoso Just check out the link right under the video ;) Thanks !

  • Pan's Lullaby is one of my favorite tracks from any movie score. You did such a great job with it, however brief it was.

    As always, you are amazing :)

  • Dude that was incredible. Add the fact that you put in music from The Great Race! You should do a tribute to James Horner. He writes the most beautiful melodies for horn in his scores like Cocoon, Field of Dreams, A Beautiful Mind. Keep up the wonderful work!

  • MAGNIFICENT SEVEN IS AWESOME!

  • WHERE'S ROCKY?

  • @Marcpapeghin of course he has it, this ba**** lol .... that's one on the technic he uses to do all his amazing stuff ... ! :) hello marc ! :)

  • Yay new video!

  • You should do a tribute to pixar movies!

  • @haselni No you can absolutely watch it ! I'd say you NEED to watch it ;)

  • @Marcpapeghin I finally did watch it. Thanks for the recommendation. No smilies for a while though.

    I think the best part for me was the Robin Hood part.

  • Very very very very very (I could go on forever) very nice.

  • You're awesome man! ++++

  • This guy has more talent than Justin Beiber, yet the pop star gets the fame? This makes no sense to me.

  • @JFroTheMusician He has more talent the Beiber personally, I hate beiber. Marc is Amazing!!!

  • Go for a Hans Zimmer next.

  • love it! :D

  • ya pas à dire sans le corp d'harmonie le cinema hollywoodien à grand spectacle ça n'existerai pas ^^ ya pas beacoup d'instrument dans le classique qui peuvent joué sur autant de registre émotionelle.

  • Also the Legend of 1900 is very sick!

  • I love the Up part!

  • This may be my new favorite vid on youtube...

  • I also love the fact that you play "Monster's INC" at the end.

  • That was so bizarre... I was JUST thinking about Charlie Chaplin's version of the song "Smile" (I heard Elvis Costello's version first) when it came on. Excellent selections!

  • YOU DIDI UP AND THE GREAT RACE!

    PLEASE PLAY AT MY WEDDING!

  • Proposal: Sequel with the following -

    * Lion King

    * James Bond

    * Superman

    * Toy Story

    * Far and Away

    * And many more

  • You did Mulan :')

    Marry me.

  • I would now say this was absolutely the best arrangement that you have ever done and is one of the best arrangements for any instrument I have ever heard. Now have you ever considered doing a Howard shore lord of the rings arrangement. The Gollum theme for me was the one where I jumped the most in excitement.

  • J'ai pas vu 2/3 des films présentés... mais ça m'a pas empêché de tout écouter... Tu vends du rêve, Marc ! :D

    Mention spéciale pour la valse de Old Boy, une de mes musiques de films préférées.

  • absolutely outstanding

  • so glad i subscribed

  • A great video tribute! I love your high register, but your low register is so full and rich that you've almost got the depth of sound that a tuba offers. Wow! LOVED it.

  • Incroyable medley. J'avoue avoir pleuré quand tu es arrivé à La Vie Est Belle. Merci beaucoup :)

  • awesome! ;D

    keep going :)
