It's not that a strum limit is the problem. It's the fact that the timing windows are much looser on PAL (England) versions than on NTSC (American) versions. That's why Ukog is able to FC so many songs that no one else can.

For example, Strikebowler is probably the best strummer Rock Band has to offer, but he could never FC AoH, MLW, or DGAM unless he switched over to a PAL system, because the timing windows are just too tight for NTSC.

I personally have not tested both consoles, but it's actually quite obvious in itself, seeing as how Ukog and all other PAL users can FC some of the fastest strumming in the game much, MUCH easier than those on an NTSC system can.

Also, PAL uses much less processing power than NTSC, and since the processing power is indirectly proportional to the strum limit, obviously, a lower processing power equals a higher strum limit, and therefore a larger timing window.

@GeneralHats LOL at you not knowing about the difference between PAL and NTSC strum limits. NTSC = America. PAL = Europe. NTSC systems have higher hertz rates, so less can be done on the system itself. So, while the max possible strumming for European units comes at around 19 NPS with extremely accurate strumming, American units can only handle about 15 with RIDICULOUSLY accurate strumming.

1. It's not a majority of us in the US that can't hit it; it's everyone in the U.S. As well as everywhere else.

2. The strum limit glitch is a lie. It doesn't exist. That's been proven by Harmonix x: I've hit long runs of the fast strummy shit in GGAHT/Aesthetics/Last Words (like, at least moderately extended periods of x4) and I'm in America. I'm just not *good* enough to FC the sections or hit them well consistently. Don't blame it on the system; that's pretty weak x:

I'm not sure whether the strum limit exists. But there's always been something haunting me on harmonix games. In which I play the fast strumming in slowest strum as fast as possible and still miss 1 in 5 notes because im not doing it fast enough. Looks like a strum limit to me. Despite that I believe in the strum limit ... GGAHT for instance, at 50% you will only just need to alt strum to be able to hit it...but I'll strum as fast as possible for me (TDWDTG Verse2 -3) and notes will be understrummed.

If I just flail my wrist on the strum bar (I have an SG with a converter, so that's pretty easy) I can overstrum and not miss any in various passages. So it's not that you can't strum the notes in the given time frame; it's the rhythm at which you strum (i.e. timing window). But then again I played violin for 5 years and piano for like, 16, so that probably helps D:

Thats not true, go play rockband1 and try to hit the GGaHT strummy, then go and do it on RB2. I can hit it almost every time on RB2 but never on RB1, because the strum limit was changed between games.
