i am just a beggener, but whare i live the wind speed goes up and down.
i am getting a stunt kite soon, hopefully a good one. its a pain to take off with a 6 year old sister she holds it backwards and tangles the string up.
the quantum is 84" and the nexus is 60". the quantum will fly considerably slower than the nexus due to it's size and design. the quantum will be much easier for a beginner to fly than the nexus.
it doesnt look that windy, how were you able to keep it up, what was the wind speed that day? I tried a stunt kite yesterday, the wind was 14 mph and it was hard to launch the kite for the first time without help
Hi there. Thanks for your comment. The wind that day was up between 10-15mph. Prism has many types of kites that are easy to fly in winds that range from just 1mph up to 30mph. This little Red Nexus ( cool kite ) has a wind range which is easy to fly in 4mph-25mph.
Yeah I am interested in this kite or the bolero. as i was told that both of these kites are good for beginners and beyond. did u have troubles launching a duel lined kite the first few times out?

great video, i just recently bought a jazz to play around with and was able to get the basics down and am really hooked on it and i just wish i was as lucky as you to have someone to teach you how to do tricks and stuff.
Nice tricks...a guy I know is nuts about kites and showed me some cool stuff and started teaching me how to fly one. He was pulling off better tricks than some "pros" that were at the kite festival I went to over the weekend. So, I just bought a Pyro to begin with. Lol he got me into it too.

Music credits? We'd all like to know how to find it. Great to fly to!

Walk back quickly gives the kite the wind needed for its saiul. Lightweight framing helps the kite fly in low winds.

Hey Dean, was wondering what piece of music was used for the backings in your video. I really liked it-had a nice effect. Good job on the stalls.

prismkitesDOTcom has some videos on flic-flacs but I can't find any direction on doing a simple stall.
quipstad 4 years ago
is there any way you could explain it in a message or do a tutorial video?

Stalls and flic-flaces, totally fun maneuvers.
You should check out prismkitesDOTcom there are videos there and you should join the forum there.
hope that helps.
