I should like to point out-and do here!-that there is nothing inherently stupid in the Imperial System.For those who might not be familiar with it it can be,admittedly,somewhat confusing.But,for those of us who have used it in a multitude of situations it is very practical.The US uses the Short Ton-200 lbs.Imp.Ton =2240,Met.Tonne 2205lbs.Naturally,if you cannot count then you are stuffed before you start!
It's is a Terex/Demag AC500 able to lift 500 metric ton. The American have a stupid way of measuring things in it so called Imperial system, say it can lift 600 ton. But it can only lift 500 tonne. Stupid ass hole Americans!!

Three more truck loads and you can have the same amount of crane in a crawler, actually be able to move it after it has counterweight in place, a lot better chart, and more fun to run. Hydros have there place, but long boom isn't it.
