What amazes me about Andy is that he plays so many songs seemingly note perfect, like he's been playing them for years and not just the past 2 days prepping to shoot a vid. He doesn't just play a few chords of Custard Pie, but the full lead lines too.

@ProGuitarShopDemos It's all good, i just want people to know how great and tonally versatile these pedals are. A lot of pedal demos, especially on youtube, put the pedals tone into the spot light, but really they should be putting the guitars tone into the spotlight by using the pedal in a way that brings out a guitars strengths. Having said that, big respects for you and your work, you must put so much time into each video and you're helping guitarists so much :) Sorry for being negative.

@MrMarcMalouf Really? Are you listening through computer speakers or external speakers? The sounds were nothing alike from where I was sitting. Strat sounded Strat-y, Les Paul sounded Les Paul-y, the Jimi Page tone sounded spot-on-Jimmy-Page-y.

Do analog pedals go along with software or should I stick with the effects included in the software?

@Guitarvirtuoso666 yes, i use both guitar rig and pod farm with pedals. you put an emulated pedal in before the emulated amp - why not make it a real one?

@SixStringHarmonies - We put out a video awhile back that covers our recording process. You should check it out. No EQ, no compression, just a gentle limiter on the master output. Good player + good gear = good tone. Stick a decent mic or two in the right places and you're done. Nothing fishy about that. It really is that easy. Thanks!

Why does everyone have to say that with every video? It looks like a pretty cozy gig to me. He probably works a lot less than he would if he was in a band, he can play whatever he wants, he most likely doesn't have to travel much at all, and he probably gets payed pretty well.
