It involves duplicating your studio recording, and making it 150% more awesome in a life performance (or 20% cooler). Anyway, great show, just one thing: add some umph to the chorus. Really DRIVE that note - rise higher than you did in the studio if you must. Oh, and if it hurts, that means you're doing it right. It's basic large-crowd revving. Cool accent, by the way.

@Charlieentwistle Many rock singers have to alter their vocal style when performing live to compensate for the relentless pace and energy of their music. Each one does it a little differently. It is particularly impressive that Myles is able to still hit the highs from his recordings, a feat which many live singers can't match... and he does it by conserving his voice instead of dragging every note out to perfection. He handles his humanity rather well, don't you think?

@Specter8100 Dude, u do know when they are in the studio performing the song they use sound machines to alter the sound of their voice or the instruments being played. Playing the song live is them performing it without all the sound engineering, so of course it ain't gonna sound the same as in the studio

Yes I know they change the voices sometimes, but some of his notes live aren't even near the regular version. He suffers much more live than other bands i have heard.

@Specter8100 as much as I love Alter Bridge, I do agree that they have difficulty living up to the studio versions live... Myles sings a lot of notes differently live and some of the guitar sound kinda blurs in the wall of sound. A lot of bands have it... though some do it right...

@patfix Yea Alter Bridge has some good songs, like this one, they just don't perform them as well live. But some bands do have a good sound live. One of my favorites is Breaking Benjamin. The only time I've heard Ben sing badly live is when he had a lung infection. But yea Alter Bridge is good. But i probably won't go to one of their concerts.
