  • I'm sure they did 2 performances - cos on this one his mike crapped out near the end!

  • i went out and bought this single after watching them on TFI.......good memories

  • fuck YES!!!!!!!!

  • i love how this sick fuck tapes the mic chords to the mic so he doesnt accidentally rip it out while hes rockin out

  • @nashnwo1234 cord*

  • @nashnwo1234 A lot of bands do that

  • WOW

  • ¿Cómo se llama esta canción?

What is the name of this song?

  • @Mangii281 Ashes to ashes

  • @FNMCHILE Gracias!

  • Mike es gracioso, que simpatico me gusta como se mueve, I love you Mike!!

  • Well tea time Friday night t.v show..... with LIVE Faith no more..... what now X factor on a Saturday Great!

  • the last 20 seconds o this tunage is how we 'feed' offa eachother ! ! ! ! ! Period ! JMFS !

  • this was my 1st exposure to fnm when i was like 13 or so. also the second single i ever bought. i rang around record shops for half an hour trying to find one that had it in.

  • forgot how good these are,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,they were happy days.......fukin women marrige blabla

turn back the clock....i was there they played 5 more tracks

  • did they play TFI more than once?! I've got them taped on VHS from TFI but that performance was alot quicker and better tbh.

  • @McGaddster Yeah I got that too, Patton has stiches in his head too.

  • didnt he break his microphone with his screaming live or something?

  • his voice never fails on this song live. freakin great!

  • someone said this earlier but it can't be said enough fnm was so much better live and i'm not talking down the studio work it's also godly

  • did you get FNM's 'it's your letters' from this show?

  • A++

  • Patton is a legend.

  • what a shame this show was axed. It was a show where proper music was played by indie and heavy rock acts that played 100% live. Much better than that hunched back git jools holland who's programme and bands r so bland.

  • he also insists on playing piano for everyone.... I'm surprised he didn't accompany metallica...

  • Brilliant. I cannot WAIT to see these guys at Download.

  • Not many days before the tour in Europe now guys! \m/

  • no jim = no fnm

  • Get over it Jim.

  • So much better live

  • brilliant, missed this live on tv as i was at the N.E.C Birmingham watching the mighty recently reformed Black Sabbath my flatmate at the time taped this for me the date was 5/12/97

  • that is a great performance

  • the perfect rock star

  • Such confidence! And extremely from 2:22

  • wow...what an brilliant performace, so tight and electric...Patton is the best front man since jim morrison

  • this tune is called"ashes to ashes",from their last studio record"album of the year"

  • Damn it I miss Mike and the rest of those mothers.

  • well they have just reformed! yay!

  • I used to watch this one on MTV, class. I don't know what its called either, isn't it great when people don't give ny info.

  • damn sounds fucking awsm!!! who plays it or what's the name of the band!!!

  • lol who plays it or what's the name of the song?

  • wait a minute, I've just had a flash back, it's called Ashes to ashes, the band is faith no more, check the origional video out, its just as good.

  • PLEASE let the reforming rumours be true!

  • they are!!

  • I miss this show.

  • Amazing! One of the best live TV musical performances of all time. I used to have this on VHS but I lost it. I love how Mike grabs another mic when his breaks! Does anyone have the 2nd time they played this song on the show?

  • A truly immense band. They played TFI?! fuck I missed it back in the day. How great do they sound live!?

  • best band ever! no one sings quite like mike patton.i heard a rumouir that there re-forming,anyone else heard this?

  • Doubtful.

  • I saw an interview recently where he was asked about a reunion and he said that he wouldn't rule it out.

As if he's got time for it though!

  • His voice is so fucking good

  • Hey I went to the 98 gig at Rock City (Nottingham, UK right? Not the Detroit one or anything) - really glad I went as I had no idea it was the last tour they would do.

  • I went to that one too. Soooooo amazing. Nearly broke my arm crowd surfing though opppss!!!

  • i also appeared on ths show. When they were rehearsing the whole building shook. Drummer is a great guy who let me have a go on his drums. While they played live on the show me and two mates were on the other half of the stage. A great show...I think Sinead O'Conner was on also and Billy Bragg.

  • If you like bands like FNM, Tool, SOAD< QOTSA etc check out MHz at myspacedotcom/mhzband

  • One of the best FHM songs, I think. It sounds better live as I think the album version has no guts to it.

  • FHM? For Him Magazine? XD lol Sorry funny typo

  • FNM version and Bowie song are 2 completely different songs man. It was not a cover.

  • i remember this from 1998 i think and its still awesome. dont like bowies orignal but FNM really make it something. 5/5

  • I saw that at Nottingham Rock City in 1989 then again in 98ish. Yep I'm also an old tosser! Absolutely legendary band.

  • I was lucky enough to catch 'em live a few times... and God I miss those days!!! (makes me sound like an old tosser but i don't give a f...)

  • fnm rule

  • you know, this performance was so class FNM were asked to come back about 2 weeks later.

  • nice, this song is totally underrated

  • Sweet! Wish I'd seen them live!

  • Love Mike Bordin...what a talented drummer!!!

  • what happened to their origonal guitarist?

  • They kicked him out in 1994 because it just wasn't working anymore. His relationship with the band was deteriorating anyways. BTW, his name was Jim Martin and he played with FNM for their first 4 records.

  • i totally got rid of any trace of chris evans on this video. much better

  • @mattybungo wise move, Cartman would be proud

  • The only good thing about TFI was the bands on it. Chris Evans is a complete knobber.

  • I gave up watching TFI Friday because I always thought Chris Evans was an utter tosser, Can't believe I missed this gem though. Ashes to Ashes = Ace song

  • Class. Just wish I'd seen that at the time. I always thought TFI Friday was pretty insufferable, but that would have justified it's existence (and my watching it).

  • thank you
