wow. that has got to be one of the dumbest things i've ever heard. tv is equal to the internet??? well how about this for one. the major media (tv) is extremely controlled. we are told nothing about the things we need to know. the internet, on the other hand, is free and open for the most part. how else would people know about david icke? certainly not from television

lol, when talking about the hypnotic nature of TV, you can't ignore it's role as a passive source of information. You are not actively engaged in the exchange of information. And when you watch a video by Alex Jones, you are listening to what Alex Jones or David Icke want to tell you. Just because their message is not backed by General Electric (Keith Olbermann) or Lockheed Martin (Lou Dobbs) doesn't mean they should not be looked at with as much if not more skeptism.

of course. that's not the point i was making. my point is that television is supposed to be open to all points of view...which it isn't. people who only get information from tv are only getting a small amount of the information which often only portrays one side of the story. the internet gives people the option to get all points of view and come to their own conclusions based on the evidence, not what anchormen and politicians tell us is the truth
