At least Sony have the guts to take a different route with their commercials. Many of them actually have meaning, it's just that some single-minded people can't see it.

@NALGame5 It's a clever advert series, but really as an introduction to the Playstation 3 it was a terrible flop. Playstation 2 adverts were hi-octane action, creepy weirdness and imagery to appeal to the 'hardcore' gamer; which worked. This however...I don't know many gamer friends who would find this queer pantomime artistic approach appealing. It would have been better to show this one a little later down the line -after- catering to the demographic most likely to get excited for the product.

Go look at the "Universe of Entertainment" PS3 commercials for what the US gets.

Still, I have to wonder what these people that appear in the ads do as their day job. Probably professional stage performers for plays or musicals I'd say.
