thumbs up for u... u pulled in a great position(even though u were spinning) u didnt lose ur body position facing the land.... because the same thing happened for me but when i pulled i turned on my back... and yes it was so bad!!!!
that was fun huh? you are far ahead of me in #s but cant touch me on # of spins :)) I did a bullet spin head down from 11 all the way to 4.5 and passed out almost twice due to G-forces. bad leg started it and bad elbows kept it going...Good luck and blue sky
@jokajem Woah, sounds mad that. My spin accelerated, just towards the end of the video when my instructor dived out of the way. I really felt like I didn't have it under control and bad things might happen, like passing out, so I deployed early, 6500ft instead of 4500ft if I remember correctly. Took 20 seconds for the world to stop spinning I was so dizzy lol.
ha ha done the exact same thing today on my level 4 couldnt belive it, i done my 90 degree turn right and then left fine but was still over 7 grand and went to turn again and couldnt. stop my instructer told me i lost my arch. i deployed my chute and then spent the next minute or 2 kicking out line twists.
spinning is something i think everyone who dosent get turns straight off the mark has to go through, its much better to spin, deal with it, then learn how to control it in my oppinion, i can see you trying to counter with no results i know that feeling, its your legs mate, toe taps, then again i know your insructors already told you this, good luck man keep at it.
It's not my legs but my arms, true my legs start the spin but I'm lifting my right hand above my elbow which is forcing the air along my right arm and out in front of my hand, thus pushing it backwards and hence the right spin. My left hand is below my elbow too, have the same effect, need to keep elbow and hand level and twist at the shoulders instead, thanks for the support though :)
that it is, your actually ahead of me on jumps now haha, didnt realise this was an old vid, thatl teach me to not comment before lookin at the date lol
I am doing AFF, did 7 jumps, and still cant stop the spinning, very similar situation. I have a good body position, but I start spining, faster and faster, and cant counter the effect. On my next jump Ill check my arms.

Didn't it make your chute spin and you had to cut off?
Cultuz 1 year ago
@Cultuz No it didn't, I was expecting lots of twists but there wasn't any at all, it was all spinning the same as me :)

Well past that stage now man :)
Got my 100th jump recently.

No worries mate, I hardly confess to being a skygod, VERY far from it :)
I like to think I'm not a bad canopy pilot though, no swoops or anything but I land on the DZ and on my feet... lol

true that, il swoop for fun if im higher than 2000 but i wouldn't dream of swooping in to land at my stage haha it would be a serious splat!

It certainly was, I'd had enough of spinning and deployed at 6000ft, took 10 seconds before the world stopped spinning AFTER my chute was open... lol
