Hulk (2003) started the story of how he became the hulk and how he felt about Betty and all of that. i think it was important to show but didnt make for good action film as much. and The Incredible Hulk from this year shows his journy from the last film. at the end of it we see Bruce in the jungle somewhere, then in the first scene in the latest film we see him in the slums and jungle.
