I used to love these guys, they peaked with Imperium, but I didn't enjoy most of through the ashes of empire, Imperium is Machine Head's best track and their back catalog is awesome, but everything else by these guys ain't too great in my opinion, it's been the same story with a lot of great bands recently.

this is not what metal supposed to be like. there's no real intensity in riff-work. it's replaced by inbecil groove moments, which are boring, uninspired and stupid. next step from here is fucking mallcore. sepultura-roots, machine head & pantera are to blame. i'm sorry if you don't see this, kids.

Vio-Lence was cool, but well, I do like Machine Head, and I totally understand your point, those bandas you mentioned (Sepultura, Machine Head, and Pantera) did give the genre a twist, but at the end it's just a matter of likes, if you like it or not... music changes, it evolves, so we can't expect it to stay the same way forever, even if we like it that way...
