We HAVE seen evolution happening. It only takes a simple Google search to find numerous examples.
There are confirmed instances of evolutionary changes and/or speciation in bacteria, plants, insects, amphibians, and reptiles among others. It's obvious that different groups of humans have evolved along different lineages, or we would not see any physical differences between the different races (sub-species) of people thoughout the world.

If you want to see evolution in a short period of time, look at the AIDS virus which evolves in order to gain immunity from typical drugs. If you want to see human evolution, look at the hight of humans for example. In the 1700s, people were typically in the 5-6 foot range. In the 1960's someone who was 7 feet tall was uncommon and strange. Today, every other NBA basketball player is 7 feet tall.

The leap in the last couple of thousand years has been massive, from us living in small tribes to the sort of world we see today. People using the same tactics for survival now as they did 10,000 years ago will most likely not survive as well. Or maybe they would, and would change the course of the future to some extent.
And even then, we are evolving on a small scale. Because we seek out certain traits in our mates, over time those traits become more prominant, such as height, hair/skin/eye color, build, ect, ect.

Actually, he did see a product of evolution when he looked at his arm. The peach-fuzz hair (some hairy than others) is a result of how earlier forms being completely covered in hair. The goose bumps you get when scared, alarmed, or cold are a product of earlier forms more primitive from being hairy. It's useless now but the same as apes, cats and dogs hair stands up with frightened or in a fight.

The actual fact is that evolution HAS been observed, both in the fossil record (which is consistent all over the world) and in currently living species. Two good examples would be the Italian Wall Lizard, which is now 2 seperate species which cannot interbreed, and nylonase bacteria, which feed on a by-product of the nylon-making process which didn't even exist prior to the invention of nylon.
So the key point of this advertisement is that Atheists are educated and Theists are ignorant.

The problem with your argument is that the complexity of the DNA of humans is so great that such a mutation has a much lower chance of being beneficial than of being harmful or even redundant. If you want to see evolution in a short period of time, look at the AIDS virus which evolves in order to gain immunity from typical drugs. If you want to see human evolution, look at the hight of humans for example. In the 1700s, people were typically in the 5-6 foot range. In the 1960's someone who was 7 feet tall was uncommon and strange. Today, every other NBA basketball player is 7 feet tall.

The leap in the last couple of thousand years has been massive, from us living in small tribes to the sort of world we see today. People using the same tactics for survival now as they did 10,000 years ago will most likely not survive as well. Or maybe they would, and would change the course of the future to some extent.

Actually, he did see a product of evolution when he looked at his arm. The peach-fuzz hair (some hairy than others) is a result of how earlier forms being completely covered in hair. The goose bumps you get when scared, alarmed, or cold are a product of earlier forms more primitive from being hairy. The actual fact is that evolution HAS been observed, both in the fossil record (which is consistent all over the world) and in currently living species. Two good examples would be the Italian Wall Lizard, which is now 2 seperate species which cannot interbreed, and nylonase bacteria, which feed on a by-product of the nylon-making process which didn't even exist prior to the invention of nylon.

The problem with your argument is that the complexity of the DNA of humans is so great that such a mutation has a much lower chance of being beneficial than of being harmful or even redundant. There are countless observations (which the theory of mutation has sprung from) in single celled organisms with a considerably low gene count of genetic mutation being beneficial.

@octoberboiy Yeah, except Mr All-caps (which, btw, just makes you seem hysterical) if that "mutuation" is passed down through the generations, and other mutuations also occur, after many many generations (which is the concept creatards never seem to get) those small changes add up to big changes, the animals are now so dissimilar they can no longer interbreed, and you have a new species. The concept is really quite simple, and has been demostrated both in the fossil record and living species.

No genetic code is EVER passed down completely intact amongst higher animals, there are ALWAYS some copying errors, those errors are mutations, just because they don't result in a visible difference does not mean they aren't mutants. This is a well known fact by all biologists who DIDN'T get their degree by mail.

The Earth existed for billions of years before humans began recording their observations. For something like evolution, which happens over millions of years, a few thousand years of observation do not suffice, the only way we can know about older things is to study fossils, which absolutely DO show evolution.

Ironically, this was important until OTHER feathered dinosaurs were found, reducing its significance drastically as a transitional form from dinosaurs to birds (which are now generally classified as 'dinosaurs' as, like you said, " every single animal alive reproduces after its kind").
