  • we could use 8 years of clinton right about now!

  • GREAT president !!!!!

  • There's no evidence that Cuomo was in any way involved in the mafia. And as for Clinton, he actually tried to nominate Cuomo to the supreme court twice. Cuomo turned him down each time. Read "The Nine" by Jeffrey Toobin. It goes over all of that.

  • OBAMA '08

  • Ok, just finished watching entire speech. It was truly great, It wasn't the greatest I've ever seen but it was truly amazing. I am Canadian so I was unaware of Mario Cuomo, he kicked that one out of the park. Oh and btw he didn't lie, Clinton delivered on most things the guy was talking about.

  • Mario Cuomoo never ran for president for 1 simple reason... he was knee-deep in the mafia. Bill Clinton even referred to that in the Gennifer Flowers tapes and had to personally apologize to Cuomo. The NY governor was a crook through-and-through who left the state in tatters.

  • All you know about is what you see on TV and you have no idea about real man who don't follow stereotypes and actually care about other people, get off the couch loser.

  • Cuomo would change everything

  • "The ship of state is headed for the rocks." God, Cuomo was great, the best American orator in history. He is the Beethoven of oratory.

  • WOW, with a speech like that, Cuomo should've ran!

  • Hillary 4 president 2008

  • Wow. I miss Bill Clinton. Mario is wonderful!

  • Sent him to be the prisident of us 2008.

  • Damn that was a good speech.

  • This is the 1992 convention. Cuomo, obviously, is the keynote speaker. Keynote is the guy who nominates the nominee. Read the title. :)

  • Thats not true. Each convention has a keynote speaker. Barack Obama was the keynote speaker in 2004. But then a different speech is made to nominate the candidate, in 2004 Kerry was nominated (I think) by Max Cleland.

  • Wrong. The keynote address is usually a separate speech from the nominating address. The keynote address deals with the platform of the party, and the nominating address not only deals with the platform, but with the actual candidate for President as well.

  • For such a fustian statement, I would expect you to understand life's gray areas. Most keynotes contain references to presidential candidates, so the two are not mutually exclusive. I hope this comment doesn't release all that hot air keeping your head inflated.

  • Thanks! Do you have Cuomo's 1984 Convention speech? How about Barbara Jordan's keynote at the 1992 convention?
