seeing this I think that you were supposed to grind for hours, to 999G and to get to level 99 that way you can beat any boss.

Also during this let's not play I kept thinking, "if this was zelda", for example during the boss battle, if this was zelda, the game designers woulnd't have been so cruel, and given you pots with hearts (or in this case, tomatoes, seriously what is up with your life being represented by a fruit?)

It's a lot easier if you go back and get a better hat and grind a bit, but since you wouldn't be willing to do that anyway, eh.

The game didn't interest me enough, I gave it a chance, but since this entire castle so far was just the same three enemies and same three traps over and over it failed. I'm sure each new major area has its own three enemies and traps, but wasting an hour grinding gold just to survive and do slightly better for only that at best isn't really appealing

Because translators suck and/or designers aren't that creative with names for buffs. Her "Level up!!" is more along the lines of "Full heal and attack boost!!"...which would be a insanely long text sprite. Her level still stays at 04.

There's actually a cat face on her head. Those "boobs" are the cat's cheeks. Also, you might not get your ass kicked so much if you went back and bought one of the better hats. Also, leveling up never hurt, it just takes extra time.

One thing that would help a fight like this is to use the cards.

Shame you didn't play further. As I recall, this is the most difficult boss fight in the entire game. It would be all downhill from here on.

Also, "Why is your weapon better than mine?" Maybe because it's made of metal and has sharp, pointy parts?
