PS: I also lost everything on the last repair. I'm glad I had some flash drives for my pictures and videos, but I lost ALL of my music, AND movies that I ripped. My old Win2000 Pro was the best! I built it! I wanted to build my own PC, but my father insisted he let this guy build one for me. It has an ASUS Motherboard, (2) AMD Athlon processors, GeForce 210 512 MB, 1 TB (C:) my 37 GB (E:) from my old, but fast, custom PC, 2 GB RAM, and a DVD-RAM (D:) I want to know what's causing that IRQL BSOD!
My PC has been worked on 3 times now. My old computer was 10 yrs old. If it had just been fixed, I'd have no problem. I never had an un-fixable BSOD like I do now with my NEW PC (XP) that keeps BSODing randomly with the STOP: IRQL_LESS_THEN_OR_EQUAL error. I have 2 partitions, 1 from my old computer, which had Win2000 Pro NT SP4. It finally crashed not long ago and then wouldn't boot. Windows couldn't start... System/Config/System.ced It ran SO FAST! RIGHT NOW my NEW PC is fuckin up, AGAIN! GD!
I have a slight problem, I need to get some information off the BSOD itself, however, my system restarts as soon as the BSOD is displayed (Around 0.5 seconds after the system crash).
Can anyone tell me how to view the information after my computer has rebooted? Maybe there is some kind of system dump file on the computer? Im running Windows Vista 32 bit
PS. it seems to crash when a sound file is played
any information would be greatly appreciated - many thanks, Leagen1000
Check the size of Random Access Memory (RAM) in your computer. Additional RAM will also increase the efficiency of your computing particularly for gaming.
..Registry is the most vital part of Win . Corrupt registry is the biggest reason for BSOD in Win . One way is to clean registry manually but manual tricks could wreck your system completely if you are not a top notch computer expert. More appropriate way is to buy a good registry cleaner reg ion out and PC optimizer
We used windows 2000 in our office and I also have it on my home computer. (we have old machines). And I have never seen a blue screen with 2000, in fact I have never had a problem with windows 2000 !!
My parent's computer stopped responding, slowly but surely. First internet, then all other programs, and then... windows xp! It got a BSOD when I tried recovery... R.I.P HP invent... You was always crappy with 512 mb ddr1.
that is the sysinternals bsod screensaver i can tell. ur bios thing dosent pop up on reboot and bsod's dont say restarting they say they are dumping the physical memory
That's a screensaver. And let's be honest, a MAC might be said to be more reliable than most versions of Windows, but MAC operating systems have their own set of problems.
Those motherfuckers at Microsoft! PPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIISSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Go count your dicks assholes at MS
cnn probably didn't send you to that website maybe a popup has done it and then the virus downloaded a .sys that affects Windows. Be carefuly browsing in the internet. download the newest browser, now they block popup and manage the downloads (except Google Chrome(r)downloads directly)
reinstall windows and watch out what drivers you install...that's the major problem why these blue sceens appear.....i had a problem once but it said smth like kernel memory or smth like that...i've just upgraded to a SP2 or SP3 and ta...da... good luck
OK, so I turn on my pc, BOSD (D=) so i go into safe mode selection thing, but it just restarts after that! I pick safe mode, restart, then BOSD. Last working config, Restart, BOSD. Solutions? nothing i do will work.
Yep I had that, your system files are corrupt so you'll need a cd to format the pc, or restore the system files you usually get them with your PC, and I dissaprove of getting an apple.
This is a fake BSOD,as BSOD CANNOT say "RESTARTING GOMPUTER..."

Listen, THere's a long painfull way of fixing it.
Just search DUMPING_PHSICAL_MEMORY in google, there's a forum website that has an aswer.
Or, do the easy and much more rewarding thing, remove your hardrive, buy a new one, and while you're at it, upgrade ur whole computer.
