how come you cant use a pulley extention system for a second layer, and the use a tumbler for the lock, so you can just pull out the tumbler to release?

you could also use the saw blade from the third video for the back lock, bend it to shape. to avoid buying the square pipe.

It might not be a bad idea to put a second lock for extending the blade as well. As far as I can tell, you only need to flick it to extend it now, yes? Perhaps you could make a pinky ring that uses the same locking mechanism that you use for holding it out, just do backwards on the back of the blade instead to hold it in place. You'd just need to hold your pinky out to extend the blade. Besides, you should have proper etiquette when killing someone.

@Coolasbeans53 you could use a regular drill, but the bench grinder seems pretty necessary. unless you could rig your disc grinder right. mcgyver that shit (idk how to spell that dudes name.)

Is it locked in place when it's retracted. Not really locked, but where it won't come out if you are running, walking, or just holding your arm down. Don't know why you would be running with it though.

I think the problem is compactness? Like in the game the blade goes into a bigger kind of blade that goes into the hilt. It would be easier and smaller if we used a blade like that.

@SorasBro I saw in one video where there was two blades inside the hilt, basically the smaller one was inside the big one and the big one was hollow so that the little one could fit. So have the little one lock at the edge of the big blade and then when you withdraw the blade, it unlocks and slides back. Something like that you mean?
