When I was in the Army and away in 70's I'd play this day after day and dream of being back home with her. When I finally got home, the dream was only a dream and no longer reality!!! Still love this song!!!

This may truly be the most beautiful song I have ever heard. Perfect vocals and flawless production of a wonderful "Heartache/Love" song. I sincerely doubt we will ever regain our collective musical souls and create songs like this again. Thank you so very much for this post!

This is absolutely superb.

I recall it being in the UK charts around this time in December 1969 and was broadcast at Filbert Street, Leicester before one of the matches.

Some odd things just stay fixed in your mind for ever.

This will feature somewhere in my Top 40 of all time!
